  • It’s #WorldSoilDay and we want to highlight how important soil is for both people and nature. Did you know that a quarter of all life on Earth can be found beneath our feet? But even soil is at risk... By working together to combat pollution, climate change and overgrazing, we can create a sustainable future where people and nature thrive. #LPR2018 #Connect2Earth

  • The Sumatran Rhino is one of the most endangered large mammals on the planet. With fewer than 80 Sumatran rhinos left in the world, the hope for their survival depends on conservationists’ ability to find and safely relocate them to specialized facilities designed for their care. * The Government of Indonesia and leading conservation organizations have successfully rescued and relocated a healthy female Sumatran rhino, bringing new hope for this critically endangered species. * This marks the first milestone of #SumatranRhinoRescue, a conservation breeding program that aims to save the species from imminent extinction and eventually increase populations of Sumatran rhino to numbers that allow them to be returned to the wild. * * * #RhinoRescue #conservation #sumatranrhino #rhino #endangered #species #wildlife
