  • ✨❄️Is it cold and wintery or warm and sunny right now where you live? . . . We took this photo of that massive Arkansas Quartz point several years ago in Yosemite Valley and we are itching for another trip to the snow! It's basically always warm and sunny in San Diego so if you can send some winter vibes our way we would really appreciate it!🙏 . . We have a few announcements🙌Firstly, we had a live session yesterday and there are still some crystals left over that we will offer in our story today so keep an eye out for that! . . We also added a ton of new stuff just last week so there are a ton of crystals looking for new homes in our shop! With that being said, all orders must be placed by the 20th with Priority Shipping to ensure delivery by Christmas. We will be shipping as soon as possible this week to help get those holiday gifts out on time! . . Finally we are drawing the winner of our 250k Suncatcher Giveaway tonight, so be sure to your last minute entries in on our last post!💕Hope you're having a beautiful weekend so far and please don't hesitate to message us if theres something you're looking for in particular😊❤️❄️✨

  • "Nature's Firefall" Horsetail Falls Waterfall at Sunset of El Capitan at Sunset in Yosemite National Park. I just delivered a 30” x 45” inch HD Acrylic image that glows of my “Nature’s Firefall”, a photograph of Horsetail Falls in Yosemite at Sunset in Winter. Do you need one?! This is a newer processed version of my image. I captured this many years ago and was one of the few people in Yosemite Valley shooting this day! I couldn’t see anyone! These days it is too much of a zoo to go but it is great to see so many people enjoying nature! Just be prepared for two mile long traffic jams and thousands of people if you visit during this time! Unfortunately many people advertised this wonder during the drought or strong winters with no water dripping at all. This is what makes it so illusive. This is nature’s version of the old man-made Yosemite Fire Fall. During the winter in Yosemite, coming off of El Capitan, there is an almost non-existent waterfall called “Horsetail Falls.” Many maps used to not even have it marked. During the last two weeks in February, IF there is water trickling over the edge, and IF it is clear at sunset (which doesn’t happen too often due to the winter storms) the setting sun will turn this waterfall into a stream of molten fire. The waterfall lights up like molten lava due to the angle of the sun. Inspired by Galen Rowell, many photographers have chased this elusive photo opportunity. I spent two evenings in a foot of snow in the middle of meadow trying to get the shot. The first evening was an absolute bust as it had been clear all day and at sunset the clouds hung over the peak. Luckily I captured his photograph titled “Full Moon over Half Dome”. The next evening everything worked out for this stunning shot. My people look at my image and think it is the old man-made firewall where they DID push a burning fire and coals over the edge. #yosemite #yosemitenationalpark #firefalls #yosemite_national_park #yosemitevalley #yosemitenps #yosemitenation #elcapitan #waterfalls #healthcaredesign #artcollector #fineartphotography #ig_naturelovers #ig_naturesbest #nationalparks #california4fun #outmywindow #arcteryxstanfordcenter

  • Some of our best conversations have been on trails—from the neighborhood state park to the magnificent #hikes out west. It is where we decompress and catch up with the happenings in our lives. Being thousands of miles apart with months between visits means you make the most of the time you have. - We barely scratched the surface of what @yosemitenps had to offer, but nonetheless it was beautiful to see you mesmerized by the granite cliffs, dense #forests, and remaining snowy sections. Next time I’ll make sure we both have spikes for our boots, so you can experience all views from the Mist Trail. 🎒🥾🌲
