Château Sainte Marguerite – Symphonie Rosé - Cru Classé - 2017 Cotes de Provence (90TSW)
Author: Goswijn Simons
Château Sainte Marguerite is a Côtes de Provence classified vineyard since 1955, that spreads on 75 hectares, created in 1929 on old plots dedicated to vine culture since the Roman era. The estate is facing the sea on the territory of La Lande Les Maures. This Varois seaside village benefits from exceptional climatic and geologic conditions. The vineyard is worked entirely in organic farming, with the Ecocert label.
This beautiful Rosé from the Provence we drank during the holiday and paired it with asparagus soup. Really a top match. A blend of 90% Grenache and 10% Cinsault.
My tasting notes:
In the glass a bright salmon pink color.
On the medium nose aromas of strawberries, white flowers, citrus and cranberries.
On the palate dry, medium-bodied, medium+ acidity with lovely soft mouthfeel showing flavours of red berries, mediterranean herbs, orange zes tand peach. Nice long mineral finish. One of the best rosés I have tasted.

Do you ever feel like you make the easiest things more complicated than they need to be? I swear it took me 20 full minutes of staring at my closet until I found the “right” thing to wear this morning 🤔😂🥴
Looks like it’s going to be one of THOSE days. I should just drop everything and open a bottle of Pinot Grigio, who wants to join? 😉
Say buongiorno to the Breganze Boys! 🥳
Andrea Petină and Ettore Pigato of Fattoria Sociale La Costa were especially excited about sharing their wines made with biodynamic Vespaiolo and Groppello, both traditional grape varietals in the Breganze DOC zone of Veneto🍇. .
La Costa is also a B&B with a seasonal kitchen and *offers work pathways for children and adults with disabilities and social disorders in the cantina and fattoria. 💯❤️. . *L’azienda attiva percorso di inserimento lavorativo per giovani e adulti con disibilità e svantaggio sociale.
❤️My girl that told me yesterday she thought her thighs were too big.😫 She’s 9.
And out of no where she said her thighs were too big. 😤😢 In this house we don’t talk “diet”. We don’t say words like “skinny” or “fat”. We talk healthy and strong.
We speak of the importance to be kind.
To eat healthy.
And have treats in moderation.
But she still said it and my heart sunk. 💔
I refuse to let her feel what I felt. I refuse to not let her see her amazing strength and inner beauty. And I refuse to stop sharing.
And I also refuse to let her to continue watching dance moms. 💃
Yes. That’s what I found that she had spent the last 20 minutes watching when I thought she was playing a game.
No. I can’t just blame a show. I know she’s at an age that she’s starting to compare herself to others. I know she’s seeing differences in her body. I know she sees other things and hears other things in her world that i can’t always control.
But I will continue to do my best to show her how to embrace who she is. Inside and out. And how tv shows and magazines are not your gauge for beauty.
And when the time is right I will share with her my story. About how I almost died being obsessed with these things.
How I lost people in my life. How I lost myself. And how I have learned to embrace my curves and learned to love myself.
This is why I do what I do. This is why I will never stop trying to inspire you too. As parents we have a job to do. And it’s 24/7.
Be an example.
Share your life lessons.
Raise a strong women because you are one 💪
This Praepositus Lacreath Riserva 2010 #wine is still fresh, firing on all cylinders in regard to fruit, depth, and tannins. The finish still provides lift, just at a lower rate. It is from the Trentino - Alto Adige region, located in the Alps in northern #Italy. .
