With a little under 2 hours till #NOvsCAR, here’s a look at my Keys to the Game:
1. Pressure Cam, and make him make mistakes. It’s the same formula every Defense has followed during the #Panthers 5 game losing streak. Getting pressure to Cam causes him to try and be a hero, and forces turnovers.
2. The first Key adds to this one. Win the Turnover Battle. The Panthers are 5-1 in games where Cam throws 0 INTs. They are 1-7 when he throws an INT. Cam has also thrown an INT in every game during the 5 game skid.
3. Carolina’s Passing Defense ranks 22nd in the NFL, allowing 254.8 YPG through the air. Tonight, they face a passing offense led by Drew Brees and Michael Thomas, a connection averaging 94 yards per game this season. Thomas will have a good matchup against Panthers CB James Bradberry, who had allowed the most yards by any CB in the NFL (727), according to PFF. Expect to see that matchup targeted a lot after last year’s Wild Card game where Drew connected with Mike 8 times for 131 yards.
Let me know what you think the keys to the game are in the comments. Also drop your score prediction, closest to the actual score wins a shoutout.
Congrats to all of our boys that were selected for this years Pro Bowl. But, does anyone feel there are certain players missing? Kamara? Davis? Lutz? Morestead? And probably another five guys? Your telling me Brady got picked over Luck? That's a joke honestly. Justin Hardee, our special teams specialist, was the favorite to win for Special Teams position but Cory Littleton gets picked?! What about Will Lutz? The man has made 25 consecutive field goals and is 27/28 in fields this year! But no Rosas makes it from New York... I feel if the Saints for some reason dont make the Super Bowl the Pro Bowl alternatives will all have the team logo of a fleur de lis. #whodat#whodatnation
As the 2018 NFL season starts to come to a close, many people are now starting to wonder who might receive the most prestigious individual award in football, the NFL’s MVP. But with many talented candidates, such as Mahomes with the lead role in the Chiefs high powered offense, Brees with his ability to lead his team to victory in any way possible no matter how bad it might seem, and Rivers with his veteran experience and Super Bowl caliberyear, it seems like the recipient of this award is not entirely clear cut as in years prior. What are your predictions for the NFL’s MVP this year? Who do you think has a chance to claim this awesome title? #whodat#mahomes#rivers#goaten#footballislife#MVP#nfl#playoffbound
