Have you seen my recently updated stories yet? I just posted ONE shot from each session I photographed this year! ONE IMAGE PER SESSION. While each shot might not necessarily be my top fav, I think each helps show the variety and uniqueness from each session.
I’m still working on a full blog post but guys, my internet has been slower than death lately. I’ve literally been working on uploading each and every day since January 1st and am only half way done.
If you’ve seen my past posts regarding my uploading woes, then you know that every time I upload, I kill the internet. Nothing else can be done as pages don’t load nor does my phone work and your girl here has too much that needs to be done to keep losing full days like this.
So! While a full blog post is still most definitely happening in the future, for now, head on over to my updated story (or in the highlights above!) to check out a little preview of what’s in store!
It’s been a rainy week in the desert accompanied by some crazy fog yesterday and I’m not complaining one bit!
With that being said, who’s down to let me third wheel on some PDA in this weather? 👀🌵🌧

So many of my maternity mamas on their home stretch to meeting the love of their lives. These two heavily on my mind today since I will be documenting the fresh 48 of this babe ✨ You’re in my thoughts and prayers @juliaarae & @pos_cbr6
Props to these two for melting my heart during this crazy cold winter ❄️🖤

Rachael and Sean’s proposal story:
Sean and I had a conversation at the end of August about getting married sooner than 2020. We went ring shopping a week later. I was so giddy knowing we were getting engaged, but I didn’t tell anyone! Not even my mom (who I tell everything). Sean and I planned a trip to park city for our 6 month anniversary at the end of September. He dropped all these comments about having dinner reservations and taking a scenic drive. I was positive that he was going to propose there. The week before our anniversary (sept 15) we went to Ashton Gardens at Thanksgiving Point with our friends Tyler and Brittney. He told me they wanted to take pictures there and whatnot. No big deal. That morning I woke up early and instantly knew I was getting engaged that day lol. We went to the gardens and walked around. Sean was very antsy to get to a bridge that was covered in flowers. I didn’t get why. When we finally got to the bridge (after I made us walk the long way around lol) I suggested Tyler and Brit should take a picture there. They told us to go first and held up their phones. Sean and I walked up to the middle of the bridge and Sean pulls the ring box out if his pocket. The first words out of my mouth were “are you kidding me!” He proposed, I said yes. We then had to wait 4 hours to tell anyone because my parents had gone for a drive and didn’t have cell service 😂
Sorry, but I'll probably be forever posting photos from this session😬

Finished up this family gallery today. ⠀⠀
I’ll be honest with you, shooting large extended families has not always been my favourite. Manoeuvring many bodies, getting the attention of tired children, finding moments of creativity in what feels like a school photo. ⠀⠀
But that’s not what it’s about. ⠀⠀
It’s about loving each other. Even if you only have contact once a year. ⠀⠀
It’s about celebrating what you have built as a family. ⠀⠀
It’s about treasuring those photos for a lifetime, goofy smiles and all. ⠀⠀
And can I get a 🙌🏻 for those families that are able to coordinate that many people!

Exactly how I’m feeling today.. this cold groggy weather gives me no motivation to do anything 😭😭 and i really need to clean the house, like REALLY bad. 🤦🏻♀️ What do you do when you get in a funk? How do you get yourself out when stuff NEEDS to get done?! Any & all advice appreciated 💛
If you only had two questions to ask someone to get the most information you could about who they truly are, what would they be?
Let's say you finally got the chance to meet someone who you have always looked up to, or maybe you just ran into the person who seems like they could be the love of your life.
If you had only two questions to ask them, and they had to answer completely truthfully, what would those questions be?
This question may inspire you to consider the life questions that someone might ask you to sum up the essence of who you are.
