  • 📸 @soarscape ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Wonderful aerial shot of the marmite King's Hall. The original grounds were opened in 1896 and the hall itself in 1934 and sadly closed in 2012. It is one of only 4 (we believe!) art deco style buildings remaining in Belfast, can you name the other 3? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 🔖Tag us 📧Message #️⃣ Use the #DocumentBelfast Hashtag for your chance to be featured.

  • Lets talk about writing in your Bible... from doing a Bible Journaling table at our church’s monthly craft morning with @laun_y17 (first Saturday of every month hmu for deets) we’ve garnered a whole lot of different responses towards doing art/writing ON the Word of God. A lot of the women who come over to have a nosey are super positive, and a few are even willing to give it a go. However there’s the people on the other end of the scale who very confidently say that they would never write in their Bible and that they either think it’s wrong or they don’t get it. Granted, these comments are usually not so subtly whispered to whoever they’re with and not directed right at us. But for the people who come over and are willing to have a chat about why we Journal or write in our Bibles and why they don’t agree with it, there’s never really been a solid answer. Forgetting journaling for a second, I actively take notes in my Bible. Like..writing all over everything and scribbling out mistakes (mine, not God’s lol) and being super duper messy. My reason is purely because I know that if I were to take my notes in a separate notebook I’d probably never look at them again. If I write ON the Word then every time I’m reading it I’ll read my notes. It’s pretty simple. So I’d really like to know your stance on writing in your Bible. Do you do it? Are you really strongly against it? Either way tell me why! Just make sure to be kind! X

  • 📸 @jony_fuji ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Beautifully crisp and colourful shot of Belfast City Hall in all its glory! Did you know that the old town hall, located on Victoria Street, only lasted in this function for around 35 years after it was replaced by the current City Hall? It wasn't demolished though and is still used by the courts. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 🔖Tag us 📧Message #️⃣ Use the #DocumentBelfast Hashtag for your chance to be featured.

  • A week ago I felt drawn to take some time away from the gram. It was a battle to even consider it, which was a massive indicator that I needed the break. Without realising it, Instagram had become a part of my identity, what a scary place to be. _ The other reason I needed to take some time away was to refocus and come back to my centre point. _ My relationship with God had been suffering, for many reasons, but I knew I needed to dive into His word, and pray afresh and look to the future with expectation rather than fear. I feel like a new person. But I’m excited to be back with you all, and look forward to what we’ll all share together in the year to come! #thepointedlife
