The second key to creating a bullet-proof profile on LinkedIn is to craft a unique tag-line. Most people who play by the rules probably won’t agree with me here, but it’s all about attention and creativity breeds attention.
There are hundreds of thousands of Recruiters on LinkedIn. The candidates that you are messaging aren’t going to recognize the prestigious agency that you represent, nor are they going to care about how professional your page looks. In fact, the more generic your page is the more likely that they ignore your message.
My recommendation (as always) is to be creative. You can come up with a catchy phrase or title for yourself while still addressing what you do and what industry you represent. For example, you can say something like “The #1 Talent Matchmaker in Real Estate.”
The point is, think outside of the box and focus your energy on attracting people’s curiosity. After all, if you’re not doing it someone else is.
