Gluteenittomia ja kypsennetty uunissa niin vähän terveellisempiä!😍
Pehmeitä sisältä ja rapeita ulkoa, näitä täytyy testata jos et vielä oo koittanu!❤
1,5 dl gluteenittomiajauhoja
1,5 dl vettä
1 tl suolaa
1 tl valkosipulijauhetta
1 tl paprikajauhetta
1 dl vegaanista siipi kastiketta, itse käytin siipiweikkojen hot kastiketta
2 rk sulaa margariinia jos kastikkeessa ei ole valmiiksi rasvaa
Dippi: kaura fraichea + 1 rkl mantelimaitoa + korianteria
Lämmitä uuni 225 asteeseen.
Irrota kukkakaalista nuput melko isoina paloina. •
I found fresh figs at my local grocery store yesterday so naturally figs and avocado toast had to happen🤩 These figs were so JUICY and I may have eaten them all in one sitting😁
For the toast I used @imperfectproduce organic avocados on my favorite bread @simplekneads_gf and topped it with hemp seeds🍞🥑
So simple, but so GOOD✌️ Happy Sunday fam💚
Made little cheese & turkey crescents (@pillsbury crescents are accidentally vegan) using @daiyafoods new shredded cheese; it’s meh. It melts way better than their original cheddar shreds, I’ll give them that. But, it still has a weird chemical taste to it, I’m honestly never purchasing daiya cheese again; why bother. They should just stick to cheesecakes cause surprisingly those are bomb. You can swipe to see what I used to make these; they were decent, but I’ve made them before w/ @followyourheart cheddar & @the_tofurky_company oven roasted deli slices and they were 10/10, so I recommend using those brands instead! ✨

We used @frysfamily beef strips and shitake mushrooms in this simple dish. - Dice onion and fry, adding a couple of crushed cloves of garlic when soft. Then add the mushrooms to cook. Set aside.
- I tend to then cook the 'meat' separately so it doesn't start going soggy.
- in the empty pan add one tbsp of French mustard, and one of tomato puree, warm slowly then add @oatly single cream, stirring continuously. If the flavour isn't bold enough, add a bit more in equal measure. - Then chuck all the set aside goodies back in the pan, stir through and serve with rice. We've got a mix of wild, brown and basmati. - And crack a whole heap of pepper over the top. Actually, IMO this dish needs a good crack of pepper at every stage. It can handle it.
You can pimp this dish with a glug of brandy over the onions, and light it up for a bit of theatre. Try it, it's an easy one.
Where are you from?
I'm on the Gold Coast at the moment but I'm originally from Sydney. I'm driving down there today (it's about 10hrs) to pick up a car and then I'm driving back Thursday.
Then I'll be driving back down in a couple of weeks for Christmas 😬
Life has a habit of hitting you with unexpected challenges. No matter how your day starts, whether it be good or bad, life will always throw a curve ball your way. These past couple days have been a stressful on for me, between my restaurant and my coaching job. Before I would let the stress between the two wear heavy on me, but I’ve come to learn that everything happens for a reason. A challenge will be thrown your way but instead of letting it defeat you, change it around and ask yourself, “how can this strengthen me?” The more you resist a challenge, the weaker you will get. The more you fight it, the harder it will be for you to get over it. Everything happens for a reason because it is a way for the universe to see how we will handle it. That’s the way I see it anyways. My point being: don’t let what the universe throws at you destroy you, listen and learn from what it’s teaching you. In the end you will be stronger because of it.

self care tips for december:
1- start a journal. winter is naturally a dark time. write about your feelings and triggers that bring you into a dark place.
2- stick to comfy foods. increase your intake of healthy fats, dark leafy greens & roasted root veggies.
3- if you’re feeling drained, increase your daily sleep intake by at least an hour. ❄️

To produce “foie gras” (the French term for “fatty liver”), workers ram pipes down the throats of male ducks twice each day, pumping up to 2.2 pounds of grain and fat into their stomachs, or geese three times a day, up to 4 pounds daily, in a process known as “gavage.” The force-feeding causes the birds’ livers to swell to up to 10 times their normal size. Many birds have difficulty standing because their engorged livers distend their abdomens, and they may tear out their own feathers and attack each other out of stress.
The birds are kept in tiny cages or crowded sheds. Common health problems include damage to the esophagus, fungal infections, diarrhea, impaired liver function, heat stress, lesions, and fractures of the sternum. Some ducks die of aspiration pneumonia, which occurs when grain is forced into the ducks’ lungs or when birds choke on their own vomit. In one study, birds force-fed for foie gras had a mortality rate up to 20 times that of a control group of birds who were not force-fed.
Since foie gras is made from the livers of only male ducks, all female ducklings—40 million of them each year in France alone—are useless to the industry and are therefore simply tossed into grinders, live, so that their bodies can be processed into fertilizer or cat food.
Foie gras is so cruel that California has banned its production. Force-feeding animals is against the law in many countries, including Israel, Germany, Norway, and the United Kingdom. India has banned the importation of foie gras, meaning that it cannot legally be sold anywhere in the country. However, we do not need to wait for a change in the law to realize that this practice is disgusting and disturbing, we can start the change now. Refuse to eat foie gras and explain others your reasons. Be the voice of these beautiful creatures condemned to an unimaginable suffering.

Busy weekend baking...I'm no chef but here's a bit of easy vegan cooking
- Seitan (wheat "meat"), curried squash soup, pizza made with Tesco smoked cheese alternative and a bit of Wicked Kitchen's onion dip, mince pies, coconut clotted cream and a hot chocolate to finish with a squirt of soya squirty cream. Soup will be easy lunches for this week and the seitan log will do a few main meals - it's great with veg and mash, in a curry or anything really! #vegan#vegansofinstagram#seitan#pizza#whatveganseat#wickedkitchen#dairyfree#plantbased

Ive been trying out asiancuisine all week. I tasted so many different kind of noodles that i felt like a noodle myself by the end of the week. Lame joke, i know. But seriously, i didn't know there were so many types of noodles. And they all are for different use. It was my first time working with tempeh. Knowing its plantbased i never quite knew what to do with that square looking ferm piece of soybeans. I have to thank the buddist chef for the inspiration. Im definitely happy with all my tastebuds being activated. This gado gado sauce and coconutcream all over this veganplate really did it for me aswell.
My debut, a veganplate with rice stick padthai noodles endulced in spicy/sweet coconutcream, marinaded tempeh on sticks, copped leeks and carrots. On the side gado sauce and seroendeng. All of the ingredients listed below can be found in your local supermarket.

1 chopped cayennepepper
2 chopped gloves of garlic or 1 tablespoon garlicpaste

i made a vegan toad in the hole for dinner and it was sooo good 😋 (the shroomdogs are in there somewhere!) i’ve decided that this is what im having for my christmas dinner, that way i won’t have to make separate yorkshires!
i had it with mashed potatoes (the best i’ve made so far, perfectly fluffy and creamy!), peas, broccoli and bisto gravy 🌱
Sunday dinner. Tip: I eat the raw veggie dishes first, so that my body can fully absorb all the vitamins before digesting the cooked food. I heard this tip first from a nutritionist many years ago, and been using it with great results ever since. What nutrition tip have you been implementing? #vegan#rawvegan#vegandish
