Alex rescued this sweet stray a few months ago. We were really worried she had kidney disease, but it seems like she's doing really well now. She's older, but honestly, she and I connected on this weird level. She'll only sit on my lap, nobody elses. She's never hissed at me. She loves me, for whatever reason. I hate to admit I kind of like her, too.
My point is, animals know what they like and don't like, just like us. They have individual tastes and preferences. Each one is unique, no matter what species. I've known many cats and dogs, and they're all very different. This is the same for cows, chickens and pigs. They are individuals. They deserve better than what we put them through. --------------------------------------------------
The next time you look at your companion animal, ask yourself, "what it he/she had been born a calf?" Consider that their same personality/soul was born into another body, yet since they were in this different body they were caged, tortured and murdered. You don't want that for your companion animal's beautiful personality. Consider that all animals have personalities, and all deserve to be treated with respect.
Happy Monday fruit hunters! It took a while before I could embrace my feelings the way that I do. Before I used to eat my feelings and it lead me to be 450 pounds and have many other issues. I would flat out ignore my feelings or push them down as many men/boys are told to do at an early age. Doing this will NEVER help. You have to feel your emotions. You have to embrace them for what they are. DON'T push them down, face them head on. For me the number one thing that helps me is talking about it. You have to talk to someone you can trust like a really good friend, a therapist, a parent, basically anyone who has your best interest. It is also really good to get some alone time in order to process the emotions. Meditation or yoga. Do this in a quiet place that you find peaceful and take as much time your circumstance will allow you to. DO NOT EAT YOUR FEELING, because it was only lead you to other issues and bad habits. DO NOT IGNORE YOUR EMOTIONS. Being present is very important, so when you are feeling down, upset, or what have you don't distract yourself with social media, games, etc. We all go through many emotions in one day we have to learn to embrace every single one. The good, bad, and the ugly.
Snickerdoodles & Cocoa... a match made in heaven! ❄️ I added a couple cups of almond milk, some cocoa, cinnamon, sugar and a few morsels of bittersweet chocolate to a saucepan and heated until steaming. Then, I whipped up some coconut foam by beating together coconut cream, sugar and vanilla until light and fluffy. ☁️ Spooned some of this on top of my cocoa and voila... the richest, creamiest Cinnamon Hot Cocoa you never knew you were missing! ☕️ P.S. You can find the recipe for my homemade Snickerdoodles using the link in my bio. 💛
❗ EXTREMELY GRAPHIC VIDEO IF SWIPED LEFT ❗
This is the reaction a hunter gave when asked for his opinion on the video. He'd previously told me that "Animals don't have the emotions to suffer" and also that "Plants feel pain" among many other baseless excuses for needlessly killing wild animals such as those he displays on his profile while smiling and holding their dead bodies like trophies. But apparently because I questioned him and don't engage in the same 'interests', he labels me as "extreme" and "a member of a cult"... Just thought I'd share so that maybe you can ask yourself if you'd support his position, and also why what he says is much different to what you may think about animal agriculture.
Monday mornings can seem overwhelming with anticipation of the hard week ahead. But, let’s remember that like The Liber8ed, we can overcome any obstacles. 🌞
The Liber8ed are the survivors of a horrific truck accident a little over a year ago. There were over 30 casualties, but these incredible steer have been resilient and their grace through this adversity has been astounding. 🐮

Visiting Cedar Row Farm Sanctuary in Ontario was such a privilege & humbling experience ❤️ Seeing the line up of cars, the families bringing their children, family, & friends to visit and love on the animals 🙌🏻 the bumper stickers, merchandise, and information posted 🌿 Wanted some footage of turkeys to help others think of them during the holiday season, but what I got in return was an introduction, a new beginning, a peek into such a beautiful and unknown world 🌎💓🌿🐮🐷🦃🐣🐓🐐🐈🐶❤️
my first three animal designs; a dog cuz they’re my fav duh, a pig because piggies are just like puppies, and a cow because of Gentle, the first cow I ever laid eyes on from Big Sky Animal Sanctuary [2018 sponsors]. the day I met Gentle I knew; they suffer more then the eye meets. she came from a dairy cow and now lives peacefully on a heaven, yet there was still sadness in her eyes. you could tell she enjoyed her life, basking in the sun, rolling in the grass, stretching her long legs. she’d tilt her head way high at the slightest gust of wind, inhaling the fresh air, yet she looked at you as if something is missing. like shes never forgotten. all the little ones she’s had over the years, never for her to see again. for that sacred milk. milk intended for their babies. the ones they carry for 9 months. when I saw Gentle for the first time I knew. she had to be drawn. these shirts represent the love and tenderness we should always have towards animals, as they are here with us, not for us. wether vegan or not, you can show your love and support for animals with theses super cute Tees.
*feels myself gain weight just standing next to it* i reeeally fancied a chicken burger for lunch and as i didn’t have any fry’s southern fried chicken tenders will have to do 🤤 guaranteed food coma for the rest of the day 🌱
Went to a vegan beverage/dessert shop that specializes in only high-quality soy products that are non-GMO and free of additives/preservatives. Everything is made fresh in-house (you can see them making it through their windows). They make a variety of soy milks (matcha, taro, red bean, cocoa, etc), tofu pudding (豆腐花), soy yogurt, tofu, and SOFT SERVE (!!!!!). Their soy milks are also a LOT richer and creamier than your typical Asian soy milks. This place was phenomenal, holy shit. 10/10. #vegan#crueltyfree
