  • Recipe below! @panaceas_pantry made one tasty and comforting vegan lentil lasagne recipe. You’ll need: 2 cups cooked brown lentils. 1 cup vegetable stock. 2 Tbsp olive oil. 1 brown onion, finely diced. 4 garlic cloves, crushed. 1 large carrot, grated. 1 large zucchini, grated. 1 tin diced tomatoes. 1/3 cup tomato paste. 2 Tbsp balsamic vinegar. 4 sprigs fresh thyme, leaves removed. Salt and pepper. 🍝 White sauce. 🍝 1/4 cup vegan butter. 2 Tbsp flour. 350mL plant milk. 1/4 cup nutritional yeast OR grated vegan cheese. 8-10 sheets @sanremopasta Lasagne sheets. 🍝 Method. 🍝 1. Preheat oven to 200 degrees C. 2. Heat a large frypan over medium heat. When hot, add onion and cook till translucent. Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds. Add carrot, zucchini and cook balsamic vinegar and cook for a further 2 mins. 3. Add remaining ingredients then bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 10-15 or until tender. 4. Meanwhile, make white sauce. Melt butter in a saucepan. Turn off heat and whisk in flour. Once whisked, add milk and yeast/cheese. Return to heat and whisk until you bring to a boil, seasoning with salt and pepper. 5. Assemble your lasagne. In a large baking tray, add a layer of the lentil mix, top with white sauce and then a layer of @sanremopasta Lasagne sheets. Repeat with more layers, finishing with a white sauce layer on top.   • My message is simple: a healthy diet should work backwards from the most sustainable way to farm, and that ideally means eating the foods produced by mixed farms using crop rotations which include a fertility building phase, usually of grass and clover grazed by cows and sheep, but also pastured pigs and poultry. Industrial farming has been an extractive industry. We have dined out on the natural capital of the soil that previous generations have laid down for us. We need to fix that because the environment in which a plant or animal is produced goes a long way to determine its nutrient value when consumed by humans.

Only then we will be better placed to challenge the huge amounts of misinformation on so-called sustainable diets which are encouraging people to avoid all meats and animal products, despite the reality that in many (if not most climates and regions) it is difficult to farm in a truly sustainable way without livestock.

Alles in den Mixer geben und entweder in eine Schüssel füllen und dekorieren oder direkt aus dem Glas trinken.   • Vegan Parmesan Cheese!!! Credit @mymeatlessmeals Hi friends 🤗 how’s everyone enjoying their time off? And if you’re not having time off, I hope you’re having a lovely Monday! (I know it’s nearly impossible but that’s just what people say instead of “hang in there”😶) aaaaanyway, today I want to share with you my very own Nut-Free Vegan Parmesan “Cheese”! Unlike other recipes, I won’t be using cashew nuts because I know lots of my followers are allergic to them. So, I opted for the next best thing: almonds! (Since they're basically drupes/ seeds, however if you're also allergic to almonds then this recipe wouldn't be safe for consumption). 🙈 This recipe super easy and tasty. AND you don’t need a blender or a food processor to make it if you don’t have them at home. The ingredients are so simple and you can whisk or mix everything together in under a minute. Here is how I make my almond based Vegan Parmesan (Not)Cheese 🙌 🔥 • 1/2 cup almond flour* (I wouldn’t recommend using whole almonds and blend them up yourselves at home because you’d need the almonds to be blanched and peeled for this recipe. So, I suggest you use shop-bought almond flour. Almond meal won’t be suitable for this recipe unless the almonds have been blanched and peeled). • 1 tsp Himalayan salt* (If you’re using table salt, cut the amount by half) • 1 tsp garlic powder • 2 tsp onion powder • 1/4 cup nutritional yeast Instructions: 1. Mix all ingredients together in a bowl or pulse blend in your food processor for about 10 seconds until all ingredients are thoroughly mixed together. 2. Sprinkle your vegan parmesan cheese on any dish you desire, any kind of pasta or even salads. 3.   • Для начала, хочу представить вам этот медовик 😋😍 Он подходит для тех, кто не любит кокос, ведь крем здесь на миндальном молоке и, конечно же,  без : Яиц❌ Молочки❌ Глютена❌ Белого сахара❌ Вы не представляете насколько отличается магазинный медовик от домашнего, это очень вкусно😱 Ну а теперь продолжим разговор о сахаре. Что же тогда есть и чем заменять сахар? И как вообще побороть эту зависимость от сладкого? Я сама всегда любила сладкое, и у меня были разные периоды, то я ела каждый день молочный шоколад, то вообще отказывалась от сладкого, но ничего не получалось. И вот однажды, года 3 назад, я начала регулярно заниматься спортом, и через какое то время мне вообще не хотелось сладкого 😦 я так выкладывалась на тренировках, что мне было обидно есть что то вредное😀в то время я ела только горький шоколад и все. Но, потом я немного забросила спорт и опять захотелось. И я начала искать, чем же заменить вредные печеньки и прочую гадость. Для меня стали спасением батончики bite, тот же горький шоколад на тростниковом сахаре и батончики raw life(продаются в ленте). Но в один день я поняла, что замена это не выход. Ведь Батончики эти состоят в основном из фиников с орешками, а финики-это далеко не диетический продукт. Недавно у меня был период, когда я стала есть много сладкого и не понимала, почему, ведь летом мне вообще не хотелось вредного. Я думаю многим знакома ситуация, когда ты думаешь - ну съем одну печеньку,а потом уже не замечаешь, как съел 10. И это далеко не норма. Сейчас я спокойно отношусь к сладкому, потому что поняла причину этой тяги. Поверьте, когда ваш рацион несбалансирован, вам всегда будет хотеться вредного. Я просто начала есть больше белка, например, вместо салата с гречей на ужин, я стала есть рис с нутом (а в нуте 19 г белка на 100 г, в говяжем фарше на 100 г - 14 г белка для сравнения)А так же, плотно завтракать!Если вы позавтракали часов в 8, а через 3 часа уже хотите есть, то это означает, что вам нужно менять рацион! Я могу спокойно часов 6 не есть после завтрака, без перекусов. И это абсолютно нормально. Чем больше вы будете перекусывать, чем больше тяга к вредностям🙄 Продолжение 👇

First I boiled chopped pumpkin while soaking cashews in another bowl. Once cooked I blended the pumpkins, then blended cashews with soy milk, mixed the two, added some salt, pepper, turmeric ,herbs and that’s it! #simplecooking

  • Vegan Tikka Masala 📸: @tabletocrave via @vegangotgame #vegangotgame Serves 6 _____ Ingredients: 1 package tempeh or extra-firm tofu 2 sweet potatoes 1 tbsp oil 2 tsp salt 2 tsp turmeric 4 tsp garam masala 4 tsp cumin 2 tsp coriander 1/2 tsp black pepper 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper 2 tsp smoked paprika 3 tbsp oil 2 onions, chopped 1 can (6oz) tomato paste 6 garlic cloves, finely grated 1 3-inch knob of ginger, grated 1 can crushed tomatoes or tomato sauce (14.5oz) 2 cans (13.5oz) coconut milk 1 cup vegetable broth, more as needed (adjust the sauce consistency to your liking) 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes 1.5 cups frozen peas Chopped cilantro Salt to taste 2 cups basmati rice, cooked _____ Instructions: 1. Mix all the ground spices into a small bowl. 2. Chop up the sweet potato & tempeh/tofu into cubes. Toss this in the spice mixture. It will seem like a lot of spices, but that's ok! 3. Heat up a large deep pan with oil & add the cubes. Toss occasionally, until everything is browned & the spices are toasted. 4. Set the cubes aside and use the same pan to heat up more oil. Add the onion, saute for a few min, then add the garlic & ginger. Once fragrant, add the tomato paste & stir. After a few min, add the tomatoes, coconut milk, broth and red pepper. Let this simmer for about 15 min. 5. Now add the sweet potato & tempeh/tofu cubes and bring back to a simmer. Simmer until the sweet potato is softened, about 20-30 min. 6. Add the frozen peas, adjust salt if needed. 7. Serve with rice & some fresh cilantro!
