Life is truly beautiful. If you ever experience a difficult time, take it as a challenge. We all go through these opticles we at times feel or believe like they may be taking the best of us. You are not alone my friend, you are not alone. I too! Believe it or not. Behind the smile, good conversations, positive words, jokes,... etc..., I too. I mean we are human! Reality for me is, I rather share all the positive I can vs negative even if at the moment I am dealing with something semi or insanely hard to handle. See we control our thoughts, we have the power to change from happy to sad, frustrated to super mad, excited to bummed and the list goes on. So this is it, if it's something not so bueno happening at this moment in your life, flip your thoughts an turn them into something positive. We can't always get what we want. I mean we can try, but if it's not meant to happen this moment, it will not happen! Why? Babes because something better is bound to happen, that's all. So stay strong my loves, stay positive, be patient, continue learning about yourself in this process, grow through these challenges, and be great! Every positive we can handle no problem ha ha duh! and the negative we are put through because we can actually handle it(growth). Seriously though! We can. I mean why are we being put through it in the 1st place? Right! Smile babes💕
I love Tuesday’s. It’s the day I pick up produce for the residents at Peaceful Prairie. It’s a lot of hard work but so worth it to see how excited everyone gets. This guy is Ralphie, he’s a Yak that was rescued a few months ago. He’s getting more and more trusting every day but he’s already allowing Chris to gently stroke his head for just a moment. Today, he was one of the first to approach me and that means he’s getting the hang of the whole produce is yummy and you can eat as much as you want day. I love how shy he is and I was able to catch this rare glimpse of him hiding around the front of my jeep.
Peaceful Prairie is the oldest and largest farm animal sanctuary in Colorado. Not only do we support one random sanctuary every month, we also have a shop section just for Peaceful Prairie. They receive 100% of the profits from their merchandise. Don’t forget to shop Endofaugust for your Christmas presents, it only will you be making someone very happy, you will be supporting the rescue and care of some of the most abused animals on earth. Ralphie says thanks!
Going vegan has meant that I have given up a couple of things 🐄🐖🐓🦆. I don't contribute to the suffering of animals anymore and I contribute to climate change way less. I have peace of mind with my moral and ethics... ⠀
What I didn’t give up is tasty and healthy food. Since I started my plant-based journey I have discovered new recipes and different ingredients that make the vegan life easy to maintain 🥬🥑🍠🥦. ⠀
