After a weekend visiting a friend in Norwich my tree is now even more jazzy. Thanks to @flyingtiger which I've missed since moving, we have a total of 0 stores here or near here and Norwich has 2, I mean how rude! Please when will Leeds be opening. Also may have accidentally purchased some more baulbes in Paperchase...I need help. Send a Christmas decorations intervention. #christmasdecorations#christmastree#mcmchristmas#kitschmas
This post has two shots. One to signify my home and one to signify my shop. Of course the vases can be bought from my shop (just go to my website) i.e 'hello, here is a beautiful vase I got you for Christmas.' ' wow, i love the vase, and i love you.' But what I wanted to say is that home and my shop are where I spend the majority of my time, plus journeying between the two. I know the route so so sooo well. If I am not transporting bits of furniture and stuff to my shop I can actually walk it. Not commuting on the tube is a revelation. Also cos I live in the area that my shop is I can have a good old chin wag about our neighbourhood with customers, which I enjoy. It's a funny thing to think about where you spend your time or your regular routes. My regular routes are actually broken up when I go sourcing vintage for the shop. Ooh the places I have seen! it's all an adventure! Looking forward to a break in the routine over Christmas. What new or old routes are you taking?
There is still a train track snaking its way around the entire dining room floor but after our cat Conker was found with a dead bird (a robin no less...does this spell Christmas bad luck?) all other toys have been packed away, the floor hoovered and the area disinfected. And when I finished the winter sun was glowin on the gallery wall so I snuck a few pics. Let's hope this incident of cat homicide does not spell bad luck for our Christmas holiday, sorry little robin. #gallerywall#ercol#ercoldaybed
So I peaked super early with Christmas in November and now I am at it again with new year 😅 say hello to 2019's door wreath. I know I always mourn the naked house after Christmas comes down, so this year I'm on an operation to end the end of festive gloom. Here is my just finished spring door wreath, ready to swap over when the festive period is over. Heather, twine and a monochrome bow. Now where to put it while Christmas happens #doorwreath#artificialflowers#newyearnewhome
Firstly, totally not my pictures until the end, sadly that one is all mine 🙈. I'm posting these inspiration pictures as I wanted to post a follow up to a story from last week, when I won @cedarlily and @anaglyptauk 's competition. I won 3 rolls of a textured paper of my choosing and after much debate, I've decided to paper the ceiling in our dining room, I'm using this lovely floral design from the 30's called Alexander. I think it will look fabulous in our late 20's home. Fortunately the kind people at Anaglypta let me have 5 rolls as the ceiling is a bit bigger there than the 3 I won. Very excited to get this done...although I think this is one time I might pay a decorator. Have you seen the mess up there! Very excited to get this project completed. Thank you both 🏠 #anaglypta#paperedceiling#waterleak
