“There’s nothing more majestic than these old oversized giant sequoias. This is an infrared photography. I have colorized my daughter to be sure you could see her...she gives a perfect idea of the gigantism of the tree🌲”

📍León, Nicaragua 🇳🇮| After a long bus journey passing through El Salvador & Honduras we finally made it to our first stop in Nicaragua!
We just couldn’t help but find ourselves climbing to the rooftop of León’s pearly white cathedral as soon as we could for some incredible views! (P.s. take your sunglasses, it really is that white! 😎) Read more about it on the blog st be-nomadic.com!

I always knew that when I left Florida I’d need to rebuild my freelance business from scratch. From the surface, I’m a food and travel photographer and writer, but behind every small business is A LOT of backend work. And wowie, has that been the case when restructuring my business in Colorado. I could go on and on about how Florida and Colorado are completely different when it comes to starting a business, but I’ll save you the not-so entertaining story. Has it been frustrating? Most definitely. But that’s OK. That’s life. At the end of the day, I wouldn’t trade it for the world. Here’s to learning, persevering, trusting in God and getting the ball rolling. 🤜🏻✨

I love NYC in the winter, but what I love even more is luggage that can stand the test of time and travel.🎒
I have been carrying the same @victorinoxswissarmy bag for YEARS and the wheels have been beat up and put to the test, and it still rolls smoother than all my friends “trendy” luggage brands! Durability is KEY. The last thing you want is your luggage falling apart while you are halfway through your trip. I can’t tell you just how many times I have seen people go out and buy new luggage on a trip because theirs died. Not mine, not ever!
I recently switched to the brand new Werks 6.0 bag to test it out, and I love the new organizational system that comes integrated into the bag.
I’m going to make a video on how to pack a carry-on and use the integrated organizational system in the Werks 6.0 bags.
What would you like to see? How to pack for a two-week trip “anywhere”? What questions do you have for someone who generally ONLY uses a carry-on?
Would love to know!
Best part of Thursday is that the next day is FRIDAY!!! 🎉🤪So excited for this long weekend, getting to see my bubs, fancy ramen, and my best friend visiting me for a week!!! Sometimes you just gotta stop and realize LIFE IS SO GOOD💛

Travel- it leaves you speechless, then turns you into a storyteller ☀️ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ It was early in the morning and we were racing to catch the bus to Tulum when we spotted this beautiful sunrise peaking over the lagoon. We couldn’t help but stop and take a photo, convinced that Bacalar was trying to make us miss our bus and stay 💛
Surround yourself with people who ONLY project positive energies & vibe off of that. Start to take notice of your soul begin to change. Notice how your life begins to shine a little brighter and your heart becomes a little lighter.✨ But remember this, don’t only take energy, that’s not how it works. Always remember to give back, for you could be the positive energy needed in someone’s life .. 💕 pc: @nikoenn_photography#yamimami#redlineravenshawaiiversion 😂
Last week I took an evening train west, then spent the next 2 days and nights making my way back home. Via some fairly unfashionable glens, totally silent: devoid of people (woo! 😆) and wildlife (boo! 😣). I slept in one nice bothy and one that's a shed, literally a garden shed with a bunkbed, cosier than a tent on a wet wild night. Some big hydro tracks helped with cycling at first but being like a motorway, leaves a massive scar on the landscape. Good: for whom? Also realised why I'd never seen this route advertised as a cycle journey: hours of pushing up a tufty, mossy hillside with no path might not be most people's idea of fun. I quite enjoyed it, in between the swearing and swearing.

RV life is wild. It is a deviation from the norm. @sailorzactattoos and I love our decision but it hasn’t been easy. It’s getting easier. We’re watching lots of YouTube and reading a lot of manufacturers doctrine but we’re doing it.
The other night one of our circuits went out. We haven’t been able to fix it because it’s always dark by the time we get home and it’s been raining. Zac has been an absolute dream during this because I have no idea what to do... but Zac saves the day, he has some ideas and he never gives up. Thanks for being on this excursion with me honey. ❤️
“Tramping is too easy with all this money. My days were more exciting when I was penniless and had to forage around for my next meal... I've decided that I'm going to live this life for some time to come. The freedom and simple beauty of it is just too good to pass up.” - Christopher McCandless 🚌
Dunes are not stable. Sand moves with water and air, trying to spread and occupy other territories. Yet, Vegetation play an important role in maintaining the integrity of the desert’s plain. They act as a windbreaker, trapping deposited sand particles and stabilising the dunes. Without vegetation, wind and rain erosion would have swept on cities, and buried small towns and villages. In the old days, people were aware of this as well. That’s why they were careful of overgrazing and cared to plant as many palm trees and orchards as they possibly can. This clever owner is fencing his land against dunes, protecting the vegetation and allowing it to nurture and thrive. A Saudi governmental initiative 70 years ago also saved Al-Ahsaa oasis , the biggest oasis in the world, from vanishing, currently enrolled on the UNESCO’s heritage world sites. Let’s care for our environment.
