Earth, air, fire, water – depicting the four elements in one photo isn’t easy. But we think @fa_views has done it perfectly: in his picture of the Lake Sils, bathed in orange-pink light, all four elements seem to be united, and the gnarled tree in the middle creates a beautiful contrast. There are also other contrasts – or shall we say surprises – in store at the five-kilometre-long and 70-metre-deep lake in the @engadinmountains. Lei da Segl, as it’s called in Romansch, may not be the highest situated mountain lake in Switzerland, but it’s the biggest in the canton of @graubuenden and belongs to the three lakes of the Upper Engadin. And it’s also where a small ship makes its rounds during the summer months until October. What’s so surprising about that, you ask? Well, it’s not just any boat ride, it’s Europe’s highest scheduled ferry service. At 1,800 metres above sea level, to be precise. In 40 minutes, you can ride from Sils Maria to #Maloja and back. The ship breaks for winter, but that’s no reason not to visit this beautiful lake, because it’s an experience at any time of the year. How about skiing on the cross-country trail along the lake or, if you’re lucky and the ice cover is thick enough, a walk on the lake itself? Thanks for the great photo, @fa_views!

As summer was my favourite season all of my life, I never actually even thought of mountains. After my ski experience in the Alps, breathing the huge amount of truly fresh air and being able to enjoy beauty whenever I look, I kind of fell in love with this sights and experience. I can't wait for another ski opportunity!
How about you? How do you feel about winter and skiing? Write you comments down below! I can't wait to reed them! 😊❄️ _________________________________________
Jedva cekam neko novo skijanje!
A vi? Kakav je vas odnos prema zimi i skijanju? Pisite u komentaru, radujem se da čujem. 😊 ❄️

Okay, so this picture is obviously not from Nepal but from Sugar Beach. Still in my heart. It’s SOCIAL SATURDAY and I had to cancel my plans (wedding AND Christmas party) here in Kathmandu because of not feeling well at all. So I’m in bed. Wuhu... 😳
And I’m thinking about anger. A Tibetan doctor here in Kathmandu told me three months ago that my liver is not healthy. Within the Tibetan medicinal world, the liver is related to anger. If anger is not processed and treated, the liver will continue to be inflamed and suffer. This post is not about repairing my liver but about anger in social relationships and the art of letting go! ❤️
Sometimes we use a lot of energy holding on to anger. We might be angry with our parents for having done something - or failed to do something - in our childhood. We might be angry with an ex for the way he/she treated us during our relationship or now when it has ended. We might be angry with friends for not showing up when we needed them. And so on ☘️
But being angry and holding on to rage without being able to or wanting to act upon it, keeps the negative fire alive. The rage keeps the persons you are angry with in your life 🌿
So let it go. Forgive or release. Don’t let the anger take over your life - they don’t deserve your energy, and neither do you deserve keeping the anger alive. Is it worth the negativity? Value yourself and let go, stop wasting time on anger that belongs to the past. It doesn’t mean justifying their actions but it means that you let go and go on 🌱
