#tbt to lavender fields FOR DAYS, at the "Emu Bay Lavender Farm" on Kangaroo Island, Australia!
Lavender is one of my favourite plants! I love using it as aromatherapy during massage, or as an addition to an epsom salts bath! To see so many varieties of it in one place, and flourishing like it was, was so memorable!🌏🐨
Love this hike/run down to 40 foot, the terrain and scenery changes from bush to rainforest to waterfall. Great spot for a little snap 📸 as well.
You can now get some of my images as jigsaw puzzles! From 30 pieces to 1,000 there's something there suitable for all, no matter what age. So if you, or someone you know, is a puzzle enthusiast, why not drop by now to see what's there and order one, two or more! Check out this link today.
If you had told me in May (which is when I finished university) that i would be spending December in AUS 🇦🇺 swinging on a rope swing next to the bluest sea I’ve ever seen I would have told you your crazy 🤪
Not because I didn’t think I could go abroad on my own (I did actually come here on my own, I met @life_oflloyd here) but because it wasn’t even an option for me then (or so I thought) 🧐
There was a plan... go to university, get a degree 👩🏼🎓and get a job.👩🏼⚕️However much I didn’t want to do it, it’s the way life worked.
A lot of my friends were getting job offers 👩🏼🔬and I hadn’t even applied. Some friends were going to do a masters👩🏼💼, something I knew I didn’t want to do.
All I knew was that 1. I didn’t want to be stuck in an office 👩🏼💻, 2. I wanted to be doing somthing ‘good’ 🌍(helping the planet) and 3. I wanted to feel like myself again. 👸🏼
👩🏼🎓Uni really took it out of me, I’ve never been very good in school and I was just struggling to find motivation for work etc. I knew I needed a change ✅
I had a couple of friends who on their gap years had gone to Australia 🇦🇺 on a working holiday visa. So, I looked into it, made a plan and booked my one way ticket to Sydney ✈️ (this was over a couple of months)
💕Yes, I was scared, but life’s to short not to be doing what you love, and look at me now, I’ve got the best office in the world 👩🏼💻🏝 _
If you could go anywhere where would it be?? ✈️Set a goal and go for it 🙌🏼

Wave rock looking ever so magnificent 👋🏻 Fun fact: Wave Rock is an ancient granite formation that has been around for over 60 million years. The shape of the rock has been smoothed by weathering and water erosion.
WHAT DO YOU WANT TO TRY?
2018 has been a year of mixed results. Highs and tough to get out of bed lows (hello winter in Heathcote). But had I not tried, I’d be angry, resentful and always asking ‘what if’? Had I not leapt I would not be where I am today.
I have travelled 30,000kms, been to 70+ towns, 3 foreign countries. I got married.
Helped @steph4euroa publish a magazine.
Published two articles in @domain.com.au . Delivered my first keynote. Secured my first journalist job.
Made new and beautiful friends.
But most of all I have found my voice and my niche.
The growing pains have been worth it.
What are YOU going to try in 2019?
