Jaipur is a fantasy, unlike any other place in the world. Known as the Pink City thanks to its salmon-hued facades, Rajasthan´s capital city is a true feast for the senses.
It´s dusty, chaotic, terribly noisy but still incredibly charming. Jaipur is a mélange of colour and vibrance that enthralls, mystifies, and seduces all at once 💫💙
Orange trees are everywhere you look in Córdoba - the whole town smells amazing 🥰🍊🥰 I kept wanting to snack on them but apparently they taste disgusting 😭

Did you know that Norway is the world's largest exporter of Salmon? •
I took this photo on my first day arriving in Norway. The views were to die for in all of Norway! The bright city lights contrast with the dark winter background in this photo. Reflections of the lights run along the thin sheets of ice scattered along the coast! A trip to Norway is like a trip to nowhere else! 🙌
My mom used to say to me, “Don’t forget to laugh today.” I’m going to miss that. 💔 Today would have been her 62nd bday. 🎂

New Year, new introduction...Part 3 of 3
We're a young family that loves to travel. We crave new adventures and are often out and about checking out new places near home. Steve works full time, and I'm home with the babies. We try to travel away as much as schedules allow.
Elden's first trip was when he was only 6 weeks old, we drove to Austin, TX. Next his first flight was at 2.5 months old, to Disney World. His first international trip was at 7 months old, we brought him all around Japan. He did great on all of these trips, and he has been a fun addition to our travel tribe.
Orlo hated the car, so no car trips for him but his first flight was also to Disney World when he was 3 months old. His first international trip was at 4 months old to Mexico. He struggled more than Elden on the first trip, but that wasn't really any different than at home.
Steve grew up traveling to Taiwan frequently, some other destinations in Asia and around the US. For his first job out of college he traveled almost every week for work.
I grew up taking smaller trips closer to home, around the US, Mexico and Caribbean. I was always obsessed with everything global though and knew I wanted to see the world from a young age.
We traveled as a couple, studied abroad together and continued to travel more and more. Once you start it's tough to stop! #travelholics We knew it'd be different with kids, but we couldn't imagine not traveling anymore. We dipped in slowly with the first babe, seeing how he did on his first flight, and after that we didn't hesitate to bring him all over. Orlo didn't really have a choice 😂 he was brought along for the ride with the rest of us.
Traveling affords our family the most meaningful quality time, so this was a perfect way for us to use Steve's longer paternity leave. What's your favorite activity for quality family fun time?
Over the summer we managed to circumnavigate the globe, visiting 9 countries in 7 weeks across 6 continents. It was quite a whirlwind of a trip. I'm very slowly getting through all our photos and prepping content to share, stay tuned 😃 ((📸@maloriekerouac))
There is more to Tofo than the party scene 😉. The Tofo rock pools are the perfect spot for those looking to explore some of the secrets of the marine world (and of course capture those Instagram worthy shots!) 🇲🇿🇲🇿

Yet another photo of my first time on a plane which was an experience in itself, but the ride was worth it to see this 💖

When in Rome you just have to go hang with the Pope.
He had a big speech the next day sadly we just missed it but what a fun experience to see his home.
Visiting Vermont gave me a new appreciation for the winter and the snow! It really is magical. At home in Niagara Falls I usually find myself complaining about the winter and snow, but there really is a lot of beauty in it!
Did you know that cells at the bottom layer of your epidermis called melanocytes 🧬 cause you to tan by producing the pigment melanin?! Like an octopus 🐙, they have tiny tentacles delivering packets of melanin to surrounding skin cells after they detect UV radiation. Even with 50SPF, my melanocytes are quite active, resulting in this dark tan! // #FunFactFriday#AlanaInMexico

EN: One of the highlights of 2018! Our first trip together was to São Miguel, Azores in April. We totally love this island. Everything is so green and peaceful... We promise to go back in ten years!

This is Rosa. She lives in the village of El Chino and she is a weaver. El Chino is the last village on our way into the Amazon rainforest. It was a beautiful little place. We were invited into Rosa’s home and we bought the orange basket you can see on the table after she completed it. She showed us how they make the strands and how they dye them with different plants and spices. It was an amazing experience to meet Rosa and her family.
I often think about life before technology took over and miss the simplicity being disconnected brings. Random thoughts from Lorna.
