  • DETOXIFY & RECOVER 🌱🍃 Does looking good on the outside matter if our insides don't look good? Does what we eat matter if our digestive organs can't function properly? HELLLL NO! We could try eating the recommended amount of fruits and veggies but not many can consciously hit that number or can't tolerate that much sugar. But there are certain ingredients that will help ensure our GI tracts are happy and working, and I'm happy there's a product that I've been using to help move things along and is free of artificial sweeteners and other icky additives. Let's look at what's inside @evogen_naturals Evogreens: SPIRULINA: ♻️The worlds 1st superfood and one of the most nutrient dense foods on earth. This blue-green microalgae helps improve the immune system, and provides exceptional support for the heart, liver, and kidneys. It's the stuff that you've seen turn my eggs and pancakes supergreen🌳 VITAGRANATE:💟 (Pomegranate) is standardized to an extremely high content of antioxidants, particularly tannins and flavonoids, which are critical in helping athletes recover and recuperate from strenuous exercise. According to ex vivo study results, VitaGranate stimulated PON1 in human serum by as much as 47 percent. BACILLUS COAGULANS & BACILLUS SUBTILUS ✳️– Studies on Bacillus coagulans and Bacillus subtilis showed a positive impact on the absorption of key amino acids and have also shown to improve immune system response. The digestive and immune systems of the human body are closely linked, as 70% of the immune system is comprised of gut-associated lymphoid tissue. 🚹🚺 I wouldn't post a product I didn't use or believed positively benefitted me so I'm just posting a nice recommendation on something everyone, not just competitors/athletes should take to maintain their GI health!✅

  • I posted this pic in my story yesterday with some quotes I hear women say all the time. Strong, beautiful women tell me “I don’t want to get too bulky” or “I only lift light weights because I don’t want to get too big”. I get it. In a society of photoshopped images of skinny, “toned” women there is a ingrained fear of looking manly. Ironically, these women are coming to me because I am the exemplar of strong but not manly. I am NOT ridiculing these women. I was one of them years ago. But lifting light or doing extra cardio so that you don’t get big is not the answer. I do very little cardio. I can’t remember the last time I ran a mile. I don’t have great athlete genetics (I love my family but let me tell you we don’t just walk around with six packs). I have worked HARD lifting HEAVY weights to get where I am now. I could probably be bigger if I wanted to strategically bulk, but you better believe it would be hard AF and I’d only get there with the guidance of a legitimate professional. I want to tell these beautiful, strong women to stop listening to popular culture. To stop stressing their bodies. I worked in a nutrition store. I know that the fitness industry prays upon these fears. They create women’s only protein, package it in pink and charge twice as much. Look at the packaging of your meal replacement shake and tell me who their target audience is, who they are spending their marketing budgets on. I am telling you that I use grocery store protein. I’m not saying all proteins are equal. You want to check for fillers and sugar. You also want to see if your body can even absorb the nutrients in the levels it claims to contain. I’m not a dietician. I’m not telling you to take me at my word. I’m asking you to get informed. Do the research and don’t just buy the protein because someone you follow on Instagram claims that is entirely responsible for their physique. Rant over- I am proud of this person it has taken me 5 years of lifting heavy weights and drinking generic protein (along with a LOT of other food) to become. I’m happier and healthier. I got informed. I found a man who taught me to believe in my strength and made me who I am today.

  • Have you ever been your own motivation?! . Like you look at pictures and think, "Where'd THAT girl go?!" 🤷 Welp, here's photos of me at the fittest I have been in my entire life, and I'm over here looking at that GIGANTIC accomplishment and going, "Wadafuq happened?!" . In reality I have maintained. I've only gained 5lbs back, instead of 30+, but nothing's that toned anymore, I'm definitely not that tan anymore and my self love meter is nowhere close to being off the charts like it was in these photos. . So, I'm coming back babes!💪Keep an eye out for my LIVE a little later on tonight as I talk about why I fell off track, what I'm going to do to get back at it, and how I want you to come along!❤️ . . . . . . . . . . . . #motivationmonday #backtobusiness #pitypartysover #tonedandtan #selflovesoldier #dafuq #bringbackthehappiness

  • That one time I was the same colour as the couch 😂😂 #funnymoments #tanlife - a lot of people ask me why we get tans for competitions and find it strange... But honestly getting a tan is one of my favorite parts. To me it’s really fun. While it helps your muscles stand out more on stage where the bright lights can wash you out. While it evens out the playing field in terms of skin tones 🙌🏽 what do you think about being tanned?
