Frozen bubbles are the only thing I look forward to in the winter besides spring. 😂 If you live in a cold climate please try it, watching the ice crystals form is one of the most amazing things I’ve ever seen! I use the giant bubble recipe from karo syrup and add a little granulated sugar and have the most success when the temperature is between 5-15 degrees F. I always use my trusty Canon Macro EF 100mm f/2.8 L IS USM to capture my bubbles, I find manual focus works best for me and I’m always able to nail my focus with this lens. The bokeh is created by frost and backlight.
