  • when u don’t know what to eat so you make a spread with a bit of everything: baked murasaki fries (my favorite kind of sweet potato!) with guacamole, roasted cauliflower, crunchy radishes w/ hummus as dip, and pan-fried tempeh, on a bed of baby spinach . to make the tempeh: cut the block thinly and place the slices in a pan on medium low heat with a dash of dark soy sauce, sesame oil, rice wine, minced garlic, and a bit of maple syrup. add enough water to cover the slices and bring to a simmer, flipping occasionally until liquid is evaporated and both sides are caramelized and browned.

The broccoli is lightly charred and I added curried brown rice for a good mix of cruciferous greens + healthy carbs to sustain my energy levels throughout the day 🌿 . Later this week I’ll have two ✌🏼 new blog posts up, including the recipe to a cauliflower pizza I’ve been playing around with lately that I think I’ve finally perfected! 🍕 hope all you beautiful souls are having a great day! ✔️

El MICROBIOMA consiste en billones de bacterias vivas que cada uno tiene en su intestino. Cada persona tiene un microbioma único y diferente resultado de varios factores genéticos, estilo de vida, nutrición, estrés, uso excesivo de antibióticos, etc. El intestino también es donde se digiere, metabóliza y absorbe la comida para luego llevar energía al cuerpo. Este proceso de digestión es esencial y de acuerdo a lo que comamos puede contribuir a estar sanos o, por el contrario, generar inflamación en el cuerpo aumentando el riesgo de desarrollar enfermedades. En este caso la persona tiene un desbalance, habiendo más bacterias malas que buenas. Los PROBIOTICOS son bacterias que ayudan a mejorar la salud del intestino. Ayuda a restaurar las bacterias buenas que perdimos por una dieta pobre, una vida estresante y varios factores más... Las principales fuentes de PROBIOTICOS son: 👉🏻KEFIR: bebida fermentada con un sabor parecido al yogurt 👉🏻TEMPEH: se produce a partir de la soja fermentada. 👉🏻YOGURT 👉🏻KIMCHI: una preparación fermentada de origen coreano que se hace a partir de diferentes vegetales. Otras formas de incorporar PROBIOTICOS es con alimentos fermentados como el famoso sauerkraut de repollo o los píckles, que podemos hacer y tener en casa siempre a mano. También el vinagre de manzana diluido es súper sano y lleno de bacterias buenas. Lo importante es tratar de incorporar estos alimentos a nuestras vidas.
