  • Celebrating 6 years together. Nope it’s not a girl it’s my bike 😂 It is the same bike I got dropped on while doing a 30k coffee spin, blew up on doing 60k “long rides”, crashed trying to use clip-ins and could barely average 30K over a 70.3 bike leg. It is also the same bike I rode a 58.04 PB for a 40k TT, clocked 200k long rides on, raced at a world championship event and lead me to these podiums. Sometimes it’s important to remember the journey and the true vision and reason I started this sport.   • Defs not bikini weather here rn but I thought I’d share a fun switch on cardio that I do more in the colder months 🏊🏻 my top outdoor cardio is running, but in the colder I love swimming!! It’s one of my favourite forms of exercise just because I grew up as a swimmer 🏊‍♀️❣️ it’s a great workout to do with friends, it’s cheap (at ubc it’s free to swim at our pool), and it’s fun, or at least I think so!! When I first started this account I wanted to share swim workouts but Idk if they’d be popular enough so I never did! But let me know if you’d be interested in some lap swimming workouts to get that heart rate up ❤️ I’d love to post them and share some swim tips! La natación es uno de los deportes más completos, sirve para hacer un trabajo cardiovascular, perder peso y tonificar las músculos al mismo tiempo sin los riesgos que generan los ejercicios que causan impacto al cuerpo. . Es apta para gente de cualquier edad y todo tipo de habilidades, aunque no todos los estilos ofrecen los mismos resultados. . * ¿Es la natación el ejercicio más completo? .Por ejemplo, si lo que se busca al entrar en la piscina es mejorar el estado de forma hay que tomar en cuenta la dificultad del estilo junto a la capacidad de cada quien de realizarlo correctamente. . Cada estilo utiliza musculatura de las piernas, del tronco y los brazos, pero debido a la técnica y movimientos que requieren, cada uno trabaja los grupos musculares de diferentes forma e intensidad. * ¿Cuál es el mejor estilo de natación para estar en forma? El más fácil de aprender es el crol, que debido a que también es el más rápido es el elegido en las pruebas de estilo libre en las competencias de natación. El estilo de pecho o braza requiere el menor esfuerzo, mientras que el de espalda mejora la postura. . El más efectivo para quemar calorías es el de mariposa, ya que es con el que más energía se gasta. El problema es que requiere unos niveles de coordinación y de técnica muy elevados, lo que genera un desgaste físico muy alto que impide mantener un ritmo consolidado y continuo durante mucho tiempo. Es por eso que si bien los movimientos del estilo mariposa son los más exigentes para el cuerpo, es posible que muchas personas puedan quemar más calorías con el pecho o crol al poder hacer el ejercicio por mucho más tiempo. . . .   • ПЕРЕЖИТЬ ПРАЗДНИКИ Я признаюсь, с ужасом представлял как я буду возобновлять тренировочный процесс. Имея большую цель уже в апреле, "упороться" будет для меня слишком дорогим удовольствием! И цели не достигну, и салаты выйдут раньше положенного времени. Но если уж им и суждено недолгое перебывание в моем организме то как говориться: "если любишь - отпусти". А отпускать я буду потихоньку! Я решил начать с плавания, так как эти тренировки заходят превосходно как бы плохо ты себя не чувствовал. Для тех кто немного вник в плавание поделюсь: 3 раза по 400м кролем через 1 минуту отдыха. Плыть легко, по возможности вспомнить и попробовать все элементы техники которые ещё сложно применить в плавании на время. 150м брасом закупаться.
