#studyingabroad #indonesia #2019 #story #sliceoflife

  • COMING BACK || Yesterday, after 3 weeks of holidays, i was coming back to Lausanne where I currently study.I wasn’t nearly as happy as one would expect the person coming back to Switzerland to be. Even though it’s been year and a half since I came here for the first time the same fears arose again. The place i was going back to appeared scary and I felt super sad. I couldn’t find a single positive thought to hold onto but I kept reminding myself that for some reason this was all good. From the previous experience I knew that each time i was coming from home that I perceive as cosy and safe surroundings, for the first few days I would go trough an adaptation period. And that was always more or less of a bumpy ride. I knew this time was the same. I felt bad but wasn’t trying to do anything to change it. I surrendered to a feeling and just tried to understand. One thing was certain: I spent a lot of time inside my comfort zone. I was surrounded by friends and family without having anything to worry about. The outside world became my source of happiness. I wasn’t doing things that I normally do to connect and feel good regardless of what’s happening around. Neither was I doing yoga, nor journaling or meditating. The outside world was giving all that I needed at the moment and I became dependent on it. At the moment things started to change I felt like my world was falling apart. With this understanding I gained a bit of peace, which made me feel proud of myself. Today I know that spiritual path is not a straight line. Sometimes I fall even deeper from where i was before, but I don’t measure my success on that. I measure it based on how fast i am able to rise and go back. What do you normally do to cheer yourself up? #studyingabroad #togetherwegrow

  • Why this conference is so important for me? - It will offer a platform to cooperatively confront emerging challenges in Asia and international world through dialogue and exchange that transcend geographical and cultural borders. - I will be involved in the Impact Challenge, in team with delegates from different parts of the world, the best teams being awarded at the Closing Ceremony. - I will have the chance to have my first TEDx experience, an opportunity to inspire and inform other delegates, and not in a ordinary place, but at the world's most prestigious university. - I will attend exclusive social events, including formal Opening and Closing ceremonies, an International night to share my cultural heritage and an Entertainment night to socialize with other delegates. I would like to thank HeySuccess for all those thousands of opportunities and resources it provides to young people motivated to explore the world and get invaluable international experiences. I wish you a year loaded with happiness, success, health, wealth and love! (2/2)

  • (Рус👇) HOW TO FINANCE YOUR LLM Getting accepted to an LLM is not as difficult as financing it. How can you do it? Well, of course you can try to earn your own money 💰💰💰If this takes too long, then you may try one of the following: ♦️Take a loan ♦️Get a scholarship ♦️Ask your employer to sponsor your studies. I would say that the majority of LLM students use either their employer funding or their own savings / family help. However, quite a lot of students manage to obtain a scholarship, at least a partial one. In one of the next posts I will talk more about what scholarships exist and how to apply to them. #studylawabroad #studylaw #llm #scholarships #studyllm #sla_money

  • Hi! My name is Olga Bodrug. I was born in Moldova and I'm doing a Master of Diplomacy in International Economy at the Bucharest University of Economic Studies, Romania. When I was an inspirational speaker at LEAP Summit in Zagreb, Croatia, I had the amazing opportunity to meet the lovely team of HeySuccess. I have joined the platform and when I've seen such a wonderful opportunities, I've decided to become a Premium user. As a result, I had more access to the information regarding the best conferences, internships and scholarships of the world. On the platform, I found an announcement on the organization of Harvard College Conference by Harvard Project for Asian and International Relations (HPAIR). I have applied and after a thorough review, this year being a record-breaking number of applications, I have been accepted. (1/2)

  • DAY TWO ~ Today I got to meet the class I will be teaching, starting off with P.E. I really didn't know what to expect but shortly realised the resources in this school were lacking (especially when it comes to sports equipment). My mentor allowed me to work with part of the class and I was able to get the girls to play soccer with each other which excited them greatly! This was actually a great way for me to get to know the students and get them to know me too. Afterwards, I was able to teach English and play games with the same class. Throughout my observations I realised the content was very dry, the lack of resources was worrying and the amount of students in the class made it hard to record abilities and progress. These will be daily struggles for me. Overall, I am absolutely loving their smiley faces and look forward to the days ahead. #swinprofexp #swinnyinkuching #globaleducation #teachersofmelbourne #aussieteachers #teachingabroad #globalstudent #studyingabroad #placement
