Best of luck to everyone, and happy holidays! ❤️
When we give without expecting anything in return, we create a strong connection that is fueled by trust. It may be a fleeting moment of unconditional giving and yet it gives us an opportunity to share a part of ourselves that will always remain in someone's life.
Let this holiday season be a great time for us to share our love ❤️ Happy Holidays fam!

As you may have noticed, many of my photos are not just of my art but of the other things that I love to do. In sharing these special moments I hope to inspire a healthy lifestyle. If you haven’t visited already, I share articles, recipes and the like on my “healthy lifestyle advocacy blog”: www.ponderosacountrylife.com #healthylifestyle#sharethelove#blog
I grew up in a traditional Christian home, where the Christmas season was, also, advent season. Honestly, I loved it. It made Christmas feel some much bigger than us and enriched the sentimentality of the season tenfold. As a child I didn’t fully understand that not everyone else in the world had the same beliefs. In my brain, every night as we sat at dinner and my mom was lighting the candle on the advent wreath, I imagined all the other candles being lite around my neighborhood and city. .
Advent (and my mother) helped me understand the real reason for the season. It drove home for me that the “giving” nature of Christmas is the lighter fluid for Christmas spirit and fully understanding the importance of Christmas.
Unfortunately, I am embarrassed to admit that this year, I am lacking in that area. I have let the business of being busy distract me from the spirit of Christmas. BUT, I vow to change that. Starting in our neighborhood. This week, the kids and I are going to pass out some sweet CHRISTmas cheer. How do you advent?

This is one of the first pictures I took of Chicago when we moved here. My future ahead and with no idea what was in front of me. I have just published a blog post about the Expat package my husband’s company offered me and how to make the best use of it. While writing it I became very grateful of this new turn in life that was facilitated by the company’s support. In this blog post I have written all I wanted myself to know sitting on this day at the lake thinking about my future plans. Even if you don’t have access to a package it is worth reading it so you can think about how to talk with the company about that topic. From all the Expat stories I know so far I can promise you one thing: It won’t hurt to ask anyway!! #chicagoexpat#chicago#chicagotours
In this harsh world that we live in, this is an excellent reminder to ❤️LOVE❤️ each other. No matter what background we have. No matter our social status. No matter what has happened in the past. No matter how others have treated us. And I agree with Mr. Hope...why wait until Christmas? In our everyday lives, we can show LOVE and grace and patience with those around us, despite the hustle and bustle of the season. Now...that’s a gift we can all use! 🎁
Ever wonder what happens behind these doors during the week? During the month of November alone, we hosted 28 events from outside organizations; that’s an average of nearly one per day, not including our regular programs for the church. Organizations such as the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts regularly meet, Morris Country Nutritional Program provides lunches on Tuesdays and Thursdays for seniors throughout the area, AA and OA hold weekly sessions, outside musical groups use our sanctuary for concerts or music room for practices, our Family Promise guests who are in housing transition call PCCT their home this week, not to mention our little friends at Stanley Nursery School who arrive every day with smiles and eagerness to learn. We are truly blessed to be able to be a center of the community.
We're utterly overwhelmed by and overjoyed by all the kind messages of support we've received from people around the world. Massive thanks to everyone from the bottom of our hearts!
We're grateful and privileged to live in a country where it isn't illegal to be gay and where marriage equality is a reality.
Let's all stand up for LGBT people living around the world who deserve the same rights. #ShareTheLove
The tables look stunning! We had red roses at our Civil Partnership 9 years ago and they brought us so much luck. #ShareTheLove

To incarnate through the millions of lives it takes to complete spirit’s liberation, you incarnate all over the universe and throughout the megaverse. In the most advanced incarnations, you fly beyond the total void -- through the gateways of infinity -- across the multiverse. In the early incarnations, it’s like you have trainer wheels on -- you haven’t the skills to balance your “bike”. You spend lifetimes locally, within the atmosphere of single base planet. This would be Earth for those young ones who’ve begun here, and this is why there are those who are reticent to understand the age and measure of this planet and the cosmos. They make up stories about how it began, in order to support their lack of experience. But eventually, like you’ve done, they graduate into lives throughout the galaxy, star systems contained within the expansion . . . hidden behind waves in the cosmic fabric. Then comes life beyond this Universe -- graduate school -- in regions totally beyond the universal horizons. After this point comes the biggest steps of all, releasing everything down to zero -- shunya in Sanskrit -- to incarnate in another megaverse. This means traveling through the void of pure nothing -- as pure nothing -- traveling as invisible light through the darkness. You become a waveless wave that reconstitutes upon arrival in another megaverse with no connection to this one. You know what holding your breath is like? This is holding your existence. You're entering cosmic sectors -- aged in Earth-time years -- in the trillions, quadrillions, quintillions and beyond anything imagined as possible. The chase of shiny objects becomes meaningless in the light of these measurements. By reading this post, there’s zero chance you're an early incarnation. You’re an ‘Angel’, from the beyond, here to assist Earth and its early stage inhabitants who are lost without supervision. Our prayer is that you recognize this; that you’re not here to live your life, you’re here to assist life; that you’re an example, teaching by example in a massive way. You’re here with the question you were assigned to ask. “What on Earth are you doing for Heaven’s sake?” #GuruSinghYogi#OurPrayerIs
