What can I say I'm a sucker for a period drama 😝 💕The Good:
I loved James McAvoy and Anne Hathaway together! Their chemistry was amazing 😍 the rest of the cast did a fab job too.
I really loved the ball scenes, library scene and the first kiss. Urrrgh lol.
Some of the camera shots were absolutely stunning...especially the extreme long shot of the beach. It was a very good looking film. 💩The Bad:
The film did drag in places and I found my self impatiently desperate to just get to the next scene of Anne and James together.
It was also quite a depressing watch to be honest. I'm not that clued up on Jane Austen so wasn't expecting an unhappy ending. 😍 Eye Candy: Anne Hathaway and James McAvoy.
So overall the chemistry between the two leads mixed with some stunning shots made this film for me. I read that it embellished quite a bit with the actual history of Jane's life but thankfully as a Austen novice I was none the wiser and enjoyed it for what it was.
