Playing around on our new 3 in 1. I have to gain single arm lock off strength to get it with the pegs. Also just learning how to edit videos and add sound lol. If you enjoy obstacles, climbing, fitness, and adventure, then join me on my journey by following me. I'm just getting started!
Stiff low back and not sure how to loosen it up? This is a helpful way to isolate your lumbar segments to get each level moving while stabilizing the rest of your spine. There are 5 lumbar vertebral segments and below that you have your big sacrum bone which also acts as another hinge at L5-S1. The normal full range of motion for lumbar extension is 15-20 degrees so if one level is stiff then it will effect the overall functionality of your low back. Not only is it important to get your low back moving, eventually you are going to want to incorporate strengthening movements with that new found range. Strength and motion to build a healthy low back. You can even find someone to assist your legs to raise up and down if you don’t have the strength to lift them by yourself.
If you don’t conveniently have a treatment table at home you can use a regular table and place a towel over the edge or use a workout bench.
My game face? Sometimes I get serious when it comes to climbing (tho I still try to keep it fun!). From staying in focus, thinking good thoughts, breathing, and planning the route so I could try my hardest. It’s all part of the game, and I’m loving it.
Thanks Lavi Ben Aharon for the picture
