Rinse the lady's finger in water and dry it completely before cutting them. 2. Cut the lady's finger to 2 inch pieces and keep aside. 3. To a mixer jar, add tomatoes and grind them to a smooth puree. 4. Grind this to a smooth paste and keep this aside. 5. Heat some oil in a kadai and fry the lady's finger and keep them aside. 6. Add some more oil to the same pan and add the whole spices. 7. Add the chopped onions, ginger, garlic, green chilies and saute them. 8. Add the ground paste and cook. 9. Add the spice powders and saute them well till oil is separated on the sides. 10. Add water and cook the gravy. 11. Add salt and the fried lady's finger pieces. 12. Cook the gravy well. 13. Finally add kasuri methi and coriander leaves and turn off the stove.  14. Serve the gravy hot with some rotis.

  • I’m feelin fiiiine with this duck foie Gras Torchon from my fave @batardny 😍😍 guys, I’m officially trying to make #FineDiningFriday a thing 🍷 I love my job, but as foodie Instagram culture has grown, I feel like I’m not seeing a lot of my favorite places showcased because they’re not doing cheese pulls and chocolate drizzles. 😕 Now don’t get me wrong — I’m all about those things and I love them. But fine dining is also one of the reasons I wanted to start this food channel. All culinary art is beautiful and worth posting about. I grew up with parents who didn’t cook, so it was Pop-Tarts, omelettes, sugary cereal, English muffins, all the time at home. But on the flip side, my uncle worked in restaurants and was cooking up beef Wellington and bouillabaisse at our family gatherings. My parents also introduced me to their favorite fine dining places as I got older because although they can’t cook, they sure as hell like to eat. This is how my page came to be — an appreciation for truly all ends of the food spectrum. I’m going to be posting more fine dining content as I think most people find it intimidating and automatically categorize it as a niche market. It actually really can be affordable, approachable, and super fucking fun. This is why i don’t get manicures — i would rather have a $15 glass of Chardonnay.

  • Showing Some Winter Vegetable ❤️ Braised Cabbage 👇👇👇 RECIPE Serves 4-6 as a hefty side dish. Ingredients 1 head of green cabbage (About 1 1/2 pounds) 2 Tablespoons of olive oil 1/2 cup (two ounces) of cooked Conecuh Sausage (@conecuhsausagecompany ) + 2 or 3 sprigs of fresh thyme, trimmed from the stems and chopped Salt and pepper to taste 1 cup of liquid (chicken stock or broth for a savory version or apple cider vinegar for a tangy version of this recipe) Directions 1. Cut the cabbage into wedges and then turn each wedge onto its flat side and slice into strips. 2. In a large, deep skillet, heat the olive oil on medium heat until it glistens. Add the cabbage and cook over medium heat, turning once, until browned, 6 to 8 minutes total. Season with salt and pepper and transfer to a plate. 3. Add the sausage to the skillet and cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, about 5 minutes. 4. Add your liquid preference, stirring and scraping whatever bits of sausage are left in the pan. Add the cabbage and thyme. Simmer over medium heat for 20-25 minutes, or until the liquid has absorbed by half. 5. Serve immediately. 6. For another variation (that adds calories but is delicious), use a slotted spoon to transfer the finished cabbage from the pan to a large serving bowl or platter. Boil the liquid left in the pan for a few minutes until it has thickened. Remove the sauce from the heat and add 1 Tablespoon of unsalted butter to it. Añadir el cacao, el coco y la miel, y mezclar 3. Dar forma a la masa y hornear durante unos 15-20’ Listo! 👅 Al ser mi primera vez, no ha salido tan genial como esperaba...ya que al pasar un rato, se han puesto duras como rocas 💁🏼‍♀️(imagino que por un horneado excesivo).   • Here is how to make pickled jalapeño rings that are so much better than store-bought and go great on burgers and sandwiches 😋 Ingredients 1 kg of jalapeño peppers Handful of dried chickpeas 2-3 slices of lemon 3-4 cloves of garlic 1 tsp of granulated sugar & salt 150 ml of grape vinegar (for each jar) Hot water Preparation 1- Cut 1 kg of jalapeño peppers into rings without deseeding. 2- Put handful of dried chickpeas in a glass jar. 3- Place some jalapeños on top of the chickpeas. 4- Halfway through the jar, add 3-4 cloves of garlic and 2-3 slices of cut lemon. 5- Continue adding jalapeños by pressing until the jar is full. 6- With 1 kg of jalapeño peppers, 3 500 ml jars of pickles can be prepared. 7- Add 1 tsp of granulated sugar and salt to each jar. 8- Pour 150 ml of grape vinegar over the jalapeños. 9- Fill the jars fully with hot water, close the lids tightly and turn the jars upside down on their lids. 10- After being cooled, store in a dark, cool place. 11- Pickled jalapeños will be ready to serve in two weeks. 12- Enjoy! #food #yummy #foodie #delicious #foodoftheday #foodpic #foodporn #nomnom #foodstagram #foodpics #foodgasm #foodblog #recipe #recipes #foodtruck #foodphotography #foody #foodstyle #foods #foodblogger #foodography #foodlover #foodprep #foodaholic #foodforlife #foodlovers #pickles

  • #recipes Пирог-венок с беконом, яйцами и сыром Сохрани рецепт — пригодится! Ингредиенты: Тесто пресное слоеное — 500 г Бекон — 150 г Сыр твердый — 100 г Яйца отварные — 2 шт. Перец черный молотый — по вкусу Свежая зелень — по вкусу Кунжут — по вкусу Приготовление: 1. Разморозить тесто, немного раскатать. Вырезать 8 (или больше) ровных треугольников. Выложить их по кругу близко друг к дружке. 2. На тесто выложить ломтики бекона. Натереть сыр на терке и выложить половину по кругу. 3. Поверх сыра выложить отварные и мелко порубленные яйца, засыпать оставшимся сыром. 4. Закрыть края вовнутрь, хорошо защипнуть каждый кончик. 5. Смазать пирог взбитым желтком, добавив немного молока, посыпать кунжутом и выпекать в предварительно разогретой духовке при температуре 180-190 °C около 25-30 минут до золотистой корочки.   • So today I tried something different. Myself and @anncurriecoaching were at @maggiesglasgow on their #nutrition course. I’m not one for cooking at all! Michael is the chef in our household! I usually burn everything apart from my speciality mac and cheese! Today at Maggies we made a Buddha Bowl. * brown rice, kale, almonds, broccoli, cucumber, avocado, sesame oil, sweet potatoes, lime, beetroot and spices. With a carrot ginger dressing- which we made from scratch! It has a little kick to it which was so nice. *virgin olive oil, rice vinegar, carrots, fresh ginger, lime, honey and sesame oil. We then had Cinnamon Skillet Apples We cooked the apples, added the cinnamon waited until they were ready and served with yoghurt. It was delicious! I’ve never been one for prepping, cooking and being excited about food. I just like it being ready and put in front of me. I started to feel weak when preparing the food but that’s ok I just have to take my time. Prudko osmahneme vo woku a dáme nabok (pokojne pridáme ešte teriyaki, pekne skaramelizuje). Vo woku dalej osmahneme zázvor, cibuľku, shitake a pak choi. Vrátime mäsko, premiešame. Ak máme chuť, pridáme arašidy a hotovka! 👩🏼‍🍳🤗🤤 . Have a lovely and relaxing weekend! This super quick wok dish is all you need before your night out or just because you dont have enough energy to cook anything cimplicated. ➡️ marinate thinly sliced chicken breasts in teriyaki sauce for at least 30min. Quickly fry them in wok and set aside, add more teriyaki to caramelize if you like. Add ginger, spring onions, shitake and pak choi. Return back meat. You can toss in some peanuts if you like them. Place couscous in a shallow bowl⁣ 2. Add salt, olive oil, cinnamon ⁣ 3. Stir, making sure grains are coated with the spices and olive oil⁣ 4. Add butter ⁣ 5. Bring stock/water to a boil⁣ 6.   • I’m feelin fiiiine with this duck foie Gras Torchon from my fave @batardny 😍😍 guys, I’m officially trying to make #FineDiningFriday a thing 🍷 I love my job, but as foodie Instagram culture has grown, I feel like I’m not seeing a lot of my favorite places showcased because they’re not doing cheese pulls and chocolate drizzles. 😕 Now don’t get me wrong — I’m all about those things and I love them. But fine dining is also one of the reasons I wanted to start this food channel. All culinary art is beautiful and worth posting about. I grew up with parents who didn’t cook, so it was Pop-Tarts, omelettes, sugary cereal, English muffins, all the time at home. But on the flip side, my uncle worked in restaurants and was cooking up beef Wellington and bouillabaisse at our family gatherings. My parents also introduced me to their favorite fine dining places as I got older because although they can’t cook, they sure as hell like to eat. This is how my page came to be — an appreciation for truly all ends of the food spectrum. I’m going to be posting more fine dining content as I think most people find it intimidating and automatically categorize it as a niche market. It actually really can be affordable, approachable, and super fucking fun. This is why i don’t get manicures — i would rather have a $15 glass of Chardonnay.

  • 🌙As we neared the downtown area, we were lucky enough to stumble upon Night Bloom. 🎈Three fully inflated hot air balloons were set up in a row while crowds of people were gathered around. 🔥The balloon operators, seated in each balloon, pulled the cord to light the flame, much to the crowd’s delight. 🌓As this was all happening at night, it was a beautiful spectacle–to go from a dark silhouette of a hot air balloon to one that was fully lit from inside. 👉🏽Check out 5 Ways to Enjoy Napa Valley With Kids on the blog now!
