  • The waters of Hutt Lagoon in Western Australia are sometimes bubblegum pink, sometimes lilac and occasionally even red, an incredible sight caused by the high level of salinity in the lagoon. The colour changes based on the season and time of day, with mid-morning or sunset said to be the best time to visit. πŸ“·@shaun.furey

  • More than 3000 stone columns, some as tall as 400 meters high, dot the skyline in the scenic area of Zhangjiajie, China. The unique rock formations are said to be the inspiration for the floating mountains in the movie β€˜Avatar’, which is a good indication of how otherworldly they look.

  • Tasmania’s Thalia Haven might only be an hour's drive from Hobart airport but you'll feel a world away from the city once you check into this private 52-hectare estate, which is surrounded by secluded coastline. Take in the view of Great Oyster Bay from the outdoor tub or swim at their exclusive golden-sand beach β€” all without another soul in sight. πŸ“·@worldwanderlust

  • I stood amongst the sunflowers, closed my eyes and thought back to last day on my bike ride, where I came across the most amazing sunflower fields. I remembered the overwhelming sense of accomplishment that radiated through my body and as I was standing here, thousands of miles away, I felt the same sensation. I was reminded of how courageous my travels have been and that even in the lows, there were some remarkable highs. Sometimes it's important to just stop and take a deep breath, even amidst all of the excitement and joy. Embrace the impulses, the highs, the lows and the damn right beautiful moments that come across more often than we notice. It's beautiful to be alive πŸ˜‡πŸŒ»πŸ’› #sunflowers #allora #visitbrisbane #thisisqueensland #seeaustralia

  • The Dolomites mountain range in northeastern Italy is perhaps best known as a world-class skiing destination but the scenery here is just as attractive in the warmer months, when beautiful hiking trails draw visitors. The region is also home to over 800 churches and castles, like this one in the village of La Val. πŸ“·@tomarcherphoto

  • Sheep outnumber people on the Faroe Islands, a remote Danish territory with a population of just over 50,000. The wet, windy climate of these islands makes it hard for many breeds of animal to live here, but sheep thrive on Faroese soil. Even the original old Norse name of the archipelago translates to 'Sheep Islands'. πŸ“· @tomarcherphoto
