It’s official! Our Foxpack Presets are now available and we are feeling a lot like these two in this photo rn ☝🏼 Ever since we started this Instagram account we’ve been getting DMs from so many photographers asking what presets we use and where to find them. We’d have to reply with “they’re our own and sorry, but they aren’t for sale!” Originally we felt like we’d never share our presets. We worked so hard to create our edit that we’re so known for, why would we give it away? But we came to see that presets are the launch pad for developing your own style, and we love the idea of our presets helping other photographers achieve that. Plus, our edit is something we’ve become so proud of. What started out as trying to mimic the film Brandon learned on at film school turned into a filmy edit that’s perfect for outdoor wedding photography. Our preset grew with us every time we’d shoot in a new location or lighting situation and is now perfect for all kinds of adventure elopement photography. I love how in just one click, our images literally come to life. It’s one thing many of our clients mention on their inquiry form, too. Our couples say they love that our photos don’t look like there’s a “filter” on them - our true to life colors and our timeless look. They want to remember their landscape just like it really was. And we are so excited to finally share them with you!! Check out our story for all the details, follow @foxpackpresets for before/afters of our photos and other photographers photos, and visit the link in our bio to get em!
I often marvel at the resiliency of nature. Whether it’s plants growing in the desert, on a rocking crag or grass thriving on the beach. This is such a harsh environment for anything to grow, near constant wind, salt water, roots in sand yet on every Oregon Beach I visit it’s there. Thought I’d highlight this hardy plant in this image. Thoughts? #pnwonderland#pnw#pnwphotographer#oregoncoast#oregonexplored#oregonstateparks#seascape
it a gorgeous day but also so windy! nothing snuggling up to a stump can’t fix. 🤩 i vote for more adventure sessions this spring and summer! I already have a few booked, let me know if you want one too!
good morning beautiful people! ☀️ I hope you are all having a lovely morning so far, I just wanted to wish you all a great day & share this little reminder I came across during my morning scrolling. It's what I think we all may know but here it is beautifully put into words for us:
You are responsible for your happiness. In fact, you create it. You attract it. You manifest it. You are the architect of your reality. You choose your thoughts, your perceptions, and your reaction to external forces. You possess all the tools needed to expand your awareness, to orchestrate the evolution of your consciousness, to choose happiness, to choose love. YOU are that powerful. Create the life you deserve. Vibrate love.
Photo of the old man, I got asked by a few people if I would print and sell them my pictures, might dedicate a website for them, never considered my self a photographer but damn, most people are horrible at taking pictures. 💁🏼♀️
I’m so in love with the image box that is included in my mini print package. You get this beautiful customized image box, your entire gallery printed on 4x6 to go Inside, 8 matted 4x6 fine art prints, and a 16x20 fine art print. Don’t you just love it? What a beautiful piece to have on your coffee table. The best part is if you book a another session with me you can continue to fill the box with more photos of your sweet babe!
Yesterday there frost was breathtaking! Needless to say, I had to try and capture it, and this is how I did😊 Despite frost bitten toes, and car washes lasting all of twenty minutes (on a sunny day if you're lucky) this season has so much for us to appreciate! Enjoy your day everyone😁
I have been trying to get @mirandairene121 to do a shoot for years I think. I have been working with @trinitygodwin for a while now (who I miss shooting terribly) and Miranda was always there supporting her and helping me. It was such a privilege that she trusted me to create something for her. Soon she will be 22 and my twins will be shortly behind her. Man I am getting old.
It’s Alaska Beer Week and we’re celebrating our favorite, local breweries and craft beer from all over the state!
This fun, annual event began in 2011 and since then has grown to include more than 30 local breweries and countless unforgettable events all over Alaska.
Grab your favorite local beer, like a delicious @alaskanbrewing Alaskan White and cheers to good beer 🍻
i made a video talking about one photoshoot that changed me as a photographer, so much love to @graynielson on this one! Link in bio if you watch I’d love to hear of any photoshoots that may have had a similar or opposite effect on you.
I was thinking the other day about something. It was quite odd, but I couldn’t help think about more when it came to me.
As humans we are all filled with weaknesses. We are FLAWED, but it is through these flaws that challenge us to grow and continually better ourselves.
So my question today is, think of a weakness (physical, emotional, etc) inside you - something you are working to strengthen. Now, if you could switch bodies or lives with a different person for 5 minutes or less– someone who exemplifies your weakness as a strength - solely so you could FEEL what it feels like to not be held back by that weakness – what would yours be?
One weakness I currently struggle with is self-doubt and the weight it bares of my every day activities. I would LOVE to feel what that freedom feels like so I am not held back. I think if I actually got to feel it, it would encourage me even more to crush my walls because I would know that feeling is REAL.
Now let’s flip the question! I believe recognizing weaknesses are so important to our growth, but I also am a huge advocate of loving yourself and appreciating the beauty and richness inside & out. So now, what is something about yourself you love – something that, perhaps, sets you apart from others? Something that you would want someone to jump into your body for 5 minutes to experience so they can be encouraged.
For me, I would say it would be my ability to be a peacemaker – how I am able to listen to others before jumping to conclusions with them – even if I disagree with their point I still want to HEAR them out and give them the time to do so. Then I will respectfully speak up or encourage. It’s allowed me to live a much more peaceful life because instead of arguments, we will usually have more heart to heart conversations.
So tell me about YOU! You can tell me one or the other or BOTH! But be sure you think about both for yourself 🧡
