I love the number 4. Of all the numbers, it holds great significance across many cultures and within my own personal life. I also love the number 2, especially if it’s doubled and twice more still if there are four 2s. My favorite time of day is 22:22, not 11:11, even though mathematically speaking one could argue 11:11 should be my favorite time. However, I am not a morning person and furthermore, who dares to think they can decide what another person likes best? I like 4. I like four 2s. And there is no way out of that reality in my brain. At least not today. ‘Nuff said. Four now.
Here’s to hoping that $15 parking fee I was supposed to pay for the whoppin’ ten minutes I was in the parking structure taking this image was just a “suggestion” and they didn’t really mean it, nor did they really watch the recording on their camera of me sticking out my tongue as I drove off without paying. I mean, why else would the yellow gate have been opened? I can read numbers just fine. The whole “parking is not free any time of day or night” sign was but a blur, never mind the fine print of the parking ticket I was gifted upon entering. I forgot my glasses (more like I’ve lost my glasses). Let’s face it, with signage like theirs, it was hard enough to figure out which way to exit. They really need to work on their clarity. Less words. More 4s!
On my 10th run through of Parks and Recreation and just finished the episode where Andy and April made an impromptu visit to the Grand Canyon and reminded me of when I went 2 years ago on my own cross country road trip! "Where are all the faces... of the presidents?"
