The walkway into the Riverhouse Reef & Grill gives you that Florida experience.
Tip: There is indoor and outdoor seating, Sunday Brunch (11-2) and a daily Happy Hour from 3-7. Have great food while watching the boats come and go.
Our absolute favourite campsite of all time was, without a doubt, Moke Lake. We initially set up camp at a site much closer to the town, but something just wasn’t quite right (despite it being a Lord of the Rings filming location). Tired, hungry and restless, we decided to go with our gut and drive on, the road soon turning to gravel and the signal on our phones long gone. A lifetime of bumpy minutes later, we made it, and the effort had paid off. This is the view we woke up to from the back of the van every morning #paradisefound
The facilities were so basic here, but we loved that. We jumped in the lake every morning for a refreshing wake up, and with no signal were forced to switch off, read more, draw more, chat more…
#wildswimming seems to be a growing trend at the moment, have you tried it yet?

It’s Thursday (aka almost Friday) so you know what time it is ↠ time for this week’s #TravelHackIt pt. 2 - today we’re chatting about boarding pass perks! 🎟✈️
Don’t delete that flight ticket just yet because it may give you further discounts on your destination. For example, did you know that @alaskaair has one of the best boarding pass perk programs, especially when it comes to free or discounted lift tickets at ski destinations 🏔⛷ like Squaw Valley Alpine Meadows in Lake Tahoe, Big White Ski Resort in Canada and Steamboat Resort in Colorado?! I had no clue and may have planned my upcoming Colorado trip a bit differently had I known; those Vail tickets are crazy expensive! 💸
For an extensive list of perks you might not know about, check out @afarmedia’s article “Hidden Boarding Pass Perks You Probably Never Knew Existed!”
🤔 Did this surprise you?! Or did you already know such benefits existed?
ALSO... I’ll be in Vail, Colorado 🏔⛷ starting Saturday so please, please, please send me your recommendations for skiing, apres skiing, and exploring (and of course eating!) 💙

Ah, vacation — where sleep schedules are thrown out the window, unhealthy food/drinks are consumed, and reasonably poor decisions (such as driving from West Palm Beach to Orlando with only a short stop at my dad’s in Tampa) are made, all in the name of fun and relaxation.
I've let my old habits of eating and sleeping too little and staying up late in the name of good conversation get me during this vacation, but I've recently realized that maybe shameless indulgence isn't such a vice when done in moderation. After all, I'll be my responsible self in half a month, so I'm going to enjoy living like a college student while I still can.
