Epic indeed. These crafty Kiwis have created an absolute gem. @epicbeer’s Hopshine Pale Ale erupts with a bucketload of tropical fruit aromas and flavours - 🍍🥭 🍊- and finishes with a pleasant touch of bitterness. While ‘only’ 5.5%, it hides the alcohol very well. Almost too well, in fact. It was somewhat lucky that I had time for only one on a work day.

BA wild ale w/Chardonnay
Not sure if my palate is up to this tbh. I like/love me some wild ale but wine has never really been my thing, and short of a few deep red wine BA real strong beers I’ve never been a fan of mixing the two.
This is the sort of drink where you can tell it is a serious freakin drink. The elegant, mystical funk hovers in the background, and that’s cool, but I’m less enamoured of the just-too-white-wineish foreground here, of that big acidic grape thing. It smothers the beer, which is what I was here for. Just a hint of citrus throughout which is cool but yeah it’s dominated by grapes, and I’m decidedly not down.
I’m well aware I sound like a Foo fighters fan trying to review John Cage or Merzbow or Schubert something. THERE ARE NO DRUMS. WHAT THE HELL THERES NO VOCALS, etc etc. But yknow I’m not gonna rave about a drink that if I’m being honest I didn’t really enjoy. Try it if you’re keen, I guess, but I won’t get it again. 5/10

Não tem a versão deste ano, mas a paixão pelas inglesas continua. Naquela época eram só em garrafas, hoje em dias as garrafas estão inviáveis e os barris não chegam por aqui. Em 2018 on tap foi no Delirium Café.
Cabin Brewing Co. SUNSHINE RAIN IPA:
Our take on the classic northwest American IPA shuns the heavy caramel and resin notes typically found in this style for something more refined and unique. Sunshine Rain has been brewed to be balanced, lively, fresh and dry, but doesn’t hold back with an aggressive dank and tropical hop punch - a combination of Simcoe, Mosaic and Citra hops.
Cabin Brewing Co. IN THE HALWAY WITH THE AXE PLUM GOSE (RELEASED JAN 2019: Seasonal):
All work and no play makes Professor Plum a dull boy. Was he the mysterious purple-clad figure roaming the halls of the Overlook Hotel the night the Grady twins died? We have no clue. We do, however, know a good mash-up when we see it. Like the salty and sour flavours of German gose beer, melded with the rich, dark fruit notes of ripe plum. Additions of coriander and wheat give a lingering flavour that shines. It’s to die for.
Cabin Brewing Co. RETROSPECTRUM PALE ALE:
is easy enough to drink every day, yet complex enough to challenge your taste buds every time. Perfectly balanced with a complex malt body, our hop-forward take on the classic American Pale Ale is exploding with tropical fruit and citrus aromas and flavours, thanks to generous late additions of Citra and Amarillo hops.
Cabin Brewing Co. SUPER SATURATION NEPA:
We have jammed all the flavours and aromas we possibly could - and then some - into our New England Pale Ale. Red Shed raw wheat and oats provide a soft, pillowy body and silky mouthfeel. With a maelstrom of tropical hop flavours and aromas from out-of-this-world dosing of new world hops, this hazy beer will fill your heart and saturate your senses. @cabinbrewing
