“Before the oil/
You are sacred/
Singing your scale/
Through the mouth of coastal beings/
The beaks of birds that burrow in your swells/
The clicks of orcas seeking out salmon/
Even after our engines ring chaos in your waves/
Before the oil/
You are Stirring...”/

What if I just stay here? Forever?
Found another beautiful place & my feet touched the Pacific for the first time!
Yes this trip was expensive as hell & I had to eat cheap shit for months... but it was worth it! I don't regret it at all.
"Christmas is a season not only of rejoicing but of reflection." - Winston Churchill
Reflecting back on 2018 and everywhere I have been blessed to photograph. My heart is full. What's your biggest 2018 blessing? (Check out the guy on the far left for size comparison 😮)
Hitlers gamble at the Bulge. December 1944 following the invasions of Italy, Normandy, a failed allied attack into Holland, and a colossal counter invasion in the east the German army was spread thin and lacked resources. The Nazi war machine needed a miracle to continue the fight. So in December Hitler made his last play. In Belgium the allied advance had created a Bulge in the lines that was lightly staffed and with the onset of winter was a relatively quiet section of the front. Here Hitler sent in the SS panzer armies to drive through the Ardennes capture a Antwerp and sever the the supply lines and hopefully be able to sue for a separate peace with the western allies. The initial attacks were successful driving the Americans back to the town of Bastogne. Bastogne was able to be reinforced thanks to an American infantry division holding the Germans back. The 101st was sent in to hold Bastogne a vital crossroads on the way to Antwerp . They would be surrounded and cut off with no air support. Waiting for the siege to be broken. #ww2#photo#europe#germany#france#usa#america#greece#usarmy#pacific#japan#asia#un#argentina#world#worldwar2#coldwar#news#holocaust#photography#poland#atlantic#war#israel#smokeing#1920s#pearlharbor#belgium

Caption: Federated States of Micronesia, Pingelap, November 2015, Jaynard (achromatope) is playing in the garden with the branch of a banana tree that had to be cut down. He’s wearing the mask I made for him for Halloween. He loved it so he kept putting it on the days after.
