Cardio with a side of Midol and cuss words. Lots of modifications, sometimes just stepping in place and cursing my innards.
I almost blew it off. Glad I didn’t. Moving definitely helps. The ladies in our fit club get me out of bed every morning. 👊🏻 No way in hell I’d do it on my own. Tried a bajillion times over the years. Failed. #NotNoMo 👯♀️
Excuse the bad photos! Looking for tips. I did a mad zoomie last night and caught myself on something (no one knows what since I was in the middle of the lawn with nothing near me 🤷). I've grazed myself, tore out a clump of hair on my already fairly bald flank. The humans have dried it out with some styptic powder - that's the yellow colour - but any tips on getting it to heal nicely without a scar?

So, it's either peanuts or squash, which I consumed a little bit of each over the last couple of days in the dark, while the power was out. First flare in awhile. Knee didn't swell after yesterday's dojo round, legs are sore though #winwin 😌. But otherwise, it's becoming a habit again to walk carefully, ease off the leftie - when I make coffee in the morning or brush my teeth - to lean against the sink with my body while supporting myself with my right leg, easing off leftie. Then I remind myself not to, but next room next chore same story #compensationcreepsinagain.
I’ve also noticed I walk in shorter strides these past weeks as my knee clicks/shifts most in full extension #walklikeagrandma. It’s not exactly a limp, but I notice the leftie simply makes shorter steps #unconsciously. ...that scope can’t come soon enough #iwantthegunkoutnow! *
I am getting tired. Of the uni. Of my boss. Of the knee. A disassociated observer in morning public transport, a narrator of my own life talking to myself in my head leaving the physical body with a busted knee behind. Reading the dojo workout notes from back then - it’s almost exactly the same routine I did yesterday, except I didn’t jump around the rope. On a plus side, yesterday I joined the Sanchin kata unlike day 145. (Can’t come soon enough -) I want to start out of that gate once again!
