Life in the Philippines 🌴 I went offline for a few days on an amazing expedition from Palawan to Coron where we camped on little islands, snorkelled empty beaches and sang songs around a bunfire 🏕 it's my second time in this country and I have to say that it's one of my faves ❤️
Back working in the van 🙌🚐 ↠ We took a spontaneous month off both posting photos and converting the van. Trying to set up our lives over here in Australia has been our priority, and honestly, it’s not been plain sailing. Visa complications for me (Hannah) have had knock-on effects, and left me with late night anxiety about the decisions we made and future careers. Usually, I pride myself in dealing with uncertainty well, but at some point, the doubts crept in. ↠ I do think that the effects of Instagram depend on your state of mind when you open the app. Although it’s often an amazing source of community and inspiration, sometimes it just feels like competitive, disheartening noise. I’ve actually found myself hiding on my personal account, scared to look at this feed or deal with any comments/DMs. At the end of the day, we post here for fun, not to make Instagram our career or to seek attention. So when we’re not finding it fun, we simply stop posting, and that feels healthy. Just know that there’s always more behind the highlights reel. ↠ I’d love to know your thoughts on this platform - useful, harmful, or both? ↠ [PS. Things are finally coming together now, and the van is getting some attention again in our spare time; currently designing an improved table mechanism and sewing the soft furnishings ✂️🤗] @whoknowswherenext#VanlifeExplorers
. ......... . #remember#argentina#vanlife#tdm#nomadfamily#nomadlife
There is no question that dogs fill our our lives with absolute joy - their happiness is infectious and their love is pure and unconditional. Did you know, though, that they also have positive impacts on our overall health and wellbeing? It has been proven that dogs help decrease resting blood pressure, they ease stress and help depression, decrease feelings of loneliness and provide additional opportunities for exercise, outdoor activities and socialization. It is clear they do everything they can to take care of us - so it is important we do everything we can to take care of them! For this reason I signed Arlo up for pet insurance through @figopet - our friendship works both ways, and I want to know he is financially covered in the event he ever needs unforeseen veterinary care I can’t afford. I made the mistake of not doing this for Tonto and Finn when they were younger and I deeply regret that. A mistake I wont make again with any new member I add to the pack! — #figopet#figofamily#dogmomlife#rescuedogsrock#vanlife
qotd : Would you like to see more about our Adventure-Mobile life?
I know this community is mostly bookstagrammers, authors, readers, and bloggers BUT we’re all into more than “just” books and this is our life!
•That is our entire “living room”
•No, we didn’t remodel the 80s look
•Yes, the rocker is very in everyone’s way, but... #babygirl
•That throw is from Kathmandu, like, right where Dr Strange went

"I'm not privileged, I worked my ass off to travel"
That's something many travellers might say, but in reality we're all privileged. More on the blog 📝 You know where the link is.
From where I’d rather be waking up 🌿😏 But seriously, my favourite thing about our little van is that our backyard always changes, and waking up somewhere new is always a wee bit wonderful 💚 #vanlife#adventuresofdelilah

Breath in & out. 🧘♀️Clear your mind. For me the best way to stretch after climbing is with yoga. 😉
I’m RIDICULOUSLY excited and a tiny bit terrified to share my new website with my Instafam today 🙃 After a long blogging hiatus, I’ve built myself a cosy new home in the cloud at www.themagicofeverything.com and She. Is. LIVE. ⠀
✨The Magic of Everything is my new online HQ ✨⠀
🏕 It’s a campfire where I can tell stories, without the Insta-police restricting my character count.⠀
📚 It’s an online hub where I can share ideas, books and resources with other curious souls and lifelong explorers — people who are looking for alternative ways to live, earn, travel and impact the world… ⠀
👩💻 And after four years working online from coffee shops, couches and hammocks around the world, The Magic of Everything is the Welcome sign on the front door of my new virtual office… I’ve changed my Insta handle today so the furniture all matches, and I hope this will be a calm and inspiring space where I can hang out with my clients 😍
I’m so stoked to have a space where I can connect with people online beyond the realms of social media and I cannot wait to share it with you all as we kick off 2019. Follow the link in my bio for a sneak peak...
🥳 I’ll be throwing a big “web-warming” party over the coming month so I can show you around my new home, but if you’ll excuse me, I’ve got something superdooper important I have to do now… ⠀
And if any of you have ever been through the challenging process of setting up a new website you’ll know that “something” is code for “collapsing in an exhausted heap with a bottle of bubbles while reciting the mantra “Done is better than perfect, done is better than perfect, done is better than perfect’” 🥂🤪🥂⠀
So cheers to new projects, new beginnings and this magical new year and all the wild and unexpected directions it may take… Wishing you all the best of everything for 2019 🥂 #timeforbubbles#newblog#newbeginnings#nomadlife#themagicofeverything#bycacademy
Love the concept of the 10 year challenge so I figured why not jump on board 🤷🏾♀️ Pic to the left taken in Bali during a monster backpacking trip
To the right - our recent trip to Rome ... with bump in tow 🤭

You can keep the fame. Just put me on the wall...❤️
Temple bar in Dublin is the main tourist hotspot. It’s busy, it’s expensive but it’s not to be missed when visiting the capital...👌🏽
Traditional Irish pubs are to be found on every corner. Just to confirm- there are over 700 pubs in Dublin, so you’ve got a lot of ground to cover...🍻 Look out for hidden street art and cool eateries....😋
Oooh, and don’t forget to skip along the iconic Ha’penny Bridge...😉
THE DANGER OF HIDDEN CALORIES
Are you eating clean but still not seeing results😢?
Are counting calories and macros and not losing weight as you expected🤷🏻♀️?
I am here to help you with that☺️
First thing you need to know is that eating healthy does not equal weight loss. In order to lose weight you need to be on a calorie deficit⬇️ (eat less calories then you burn)
That means that even if you cut all the junk food and soda out of your diet you can still be on a calorie surplus 😱(eating more calories than you burn) and gain weight
Yeah even if you cut all the carbs out of your life you can still gain weight from eating too much protein and/or fat. Shocker 🤯I know
Another thing that happens a lot is people don’t realize all the hidden calories in foods and they forget to count them in
What do you mean I use MyFitnessPal and log all my meals😳!?
These calorie tracking apps are great but what a lot of people don’t realize is that for them to actually work you need to count 😐EVERYTHING you eat & drink
Hidden calories are those that you don’t even realize are there and therefore do not count them into your daily intake
Here are some examples of hidden calories that you may not be counting on your day
➕2 tablespoons of olive oil you used to look your meals 240 calories
➕Cheese on your salad 140 calories
➕3 tablespoons of creamer in your coffee 80 calories
➕1 tablespoon of peanut butter from the jar 100 calories
➕3 tablespoons of salad dressing in your salad 220 calories
Hidden calories are not only in the foods we eat but also in a lot of drinks and even in some sugar free and fat free products that you may be consuming.
These are just a few examples of calories that you are probably not counting when preparing your meals. Add all of them and you are way passed your daily calorie intake.
As a result you are not losing weight, spending countless hours at the gym, not getting results and becoming completely frustrated.
I am not saying that you can add cheese or dressing on your salad or even cream to your coffee just make sure when you do that you counting them into your daily calories so you can enjoy foods you ❤️
