Fun facts about this photo:
- I took many because I’m a female and we’re harsh on ourselves 🤷♀️
- I sometimes prefer this look, sometimes prefer stage lean 🤷♀️💀
- I just ate an amazing steamed pork bun before I took this and it was glorious 🤷♀️ #keepingitreal 🍔🍟
I’m soooooo glad I finally got to experience this unbelievable place. I definitely wasn’t expecting huge mountains and glaciers, mixed with jungle vibes next to the ocean. This was easily one of the incredible locations I’ve ever been to minus the demonic sandflies 😂 Anybody who has been knows exactly what I’m talking about

Yesterday’s adventure will be one to remember ☺️ 9:30am departure, 4am return. 12 hours of driving, 1000+ kms, picking up a random hitchhiker, driving through clouds, rain & sun, and some more questionable events, all the while doing it with great people. 🍉
Land of The Long White Cloud: Adventures in New Zealand 🇳🇿☁️ in the evening we attended a lecture on all things space related, hearing stories about constellations and their origins 🌠✨We were lying on floats bobbing around a pool at the time (oh and I also had a breakdown looking at these stars because at this point in the trip I ran out of money) 🌌
It's been over a month since I moved to New Zealand. In this time, I've been living in more rural areas and smaller towns like Raglan. Last week, I decided to move to Wellington, my first big city.
At first, the move was a bit stressful - living in a van is not very fun when you are in a metropolitan area. But as I familiarized myself with the roads and neighborhoods of Wellington, I started to fall in love with this city. I know I won't stay here for long. I need to continue my journey to the South Island, but not before I capture some sweet scenery around Wellington.
After driving through Wellington’s coast, some amazing rock formations caught my eye. It was the perfect spot to use my Big Stopper ND filter to capture daytime long exposures, and I’m obsessed with the results. The moving clouds and water cause such an incredible effect, it really creates an otherworldly, dark atmosphere. -
