  • Here we go again with the “new year - new me” commitments, which most of us won’t complete this year ⚠️ Many will fail only a couple of weeks into the new year of trying ❌ 🤔 The excuses will take over 😴 The consistency will drop 😶 The will power will be lost and we’ll get discouraged when we won’t see the unrealistic change that we where hoping for.. 🤬 We’ll get frustrated and throw our hands up in the air, thinking it’s futile. 🤯 Shame will creep in, followed by guilt and inaction. 💩 And before we know it, a whole year will have gone by and the cycle will all start over. There is a way, however, that leads to breakthrough instead of disappointment when it comes to setting and achieving goals: 📍you need to measure the process and not the outcome!   • Can you work a certain area of your body to lose weight from there. NO. Unfortunately the body doesn’t work like that. Think of the bath, when you pull the plug it doesn’t just go down by the plug, the water level drops from the whole bath. Your body is like this with regards to body fat and you will just burn fat from the whole body (some areas will store more fat and take longer to get where you want them to be). As boring as it sounds, you just need to be consistent with your diet & exercise (and rest) to see amazing transformations in your body shape. Don’t believe me? Just ask yourself how you got to be out of shape in the first place... you were consistent with a poor diet and no exercise (oh and eating food didn’t make you fat just around your mouth and stomach).   • FITNESS ABHIYAN 2019. TIP No 14 Exercising is like going on a DATE with YOURSELF Happy Sankranthi to all of you. Many people still perceive exercise as effort, hard work,sweat, tiring and boring. They will choose anything else over physical activity. This is only because they perceive it as punishment. They are not wrong. Our system is wrong. Even in school our punishments were running and squats and pushups. So most are still carrying that exercise is like a punishment. Let’s stop thinking that way Let exercise. ( it can be just a walk, run, swim, workout or play) be the most vibrant time of the entire day. Do the following before your start. 1. Close your eyes just for a minute and visualise you are going to have a fantastic time exercising 2. Wear your best clothes. Dress every time as if you are going on a date. 3. Wear clothes that makes you feel good about yourself and not to hide that extra weight. 4. Wear nice comfortable, inspiring clothes for yourself. 5. Smell good. Feel good. 6. Feel as if your are going on a date with yourself. 7. Carry that smile all the way. No cursing and frowning during the entire time. Remember you are on a DATE. Exercising should be a habit like brushing, bathing, eating which we never miss out on daily basis. Look forward for it everyday. And let this time be your best hour of the day. Because this is the only time you are spending on your self which will result in making you much more healthy and happy. ENJOY DATING YOURSELF. LET 2019 be your FITTEST YEAR ever.   • Good morniiiiing IG family! Forgive the 8am outburst lol already swigged down my magic mommy juice and worked out so I am ready.to.GO! Haha! But seriously - for those of you up early and seeing this post - can you do me a favor?! ITS DAY ONE for us over here! And by that I mean I have OVER 150 friends kicking off our FIRST virtual bootcamp for the year! They, along with myself, have committed to 6 weeks (to start 😉), some less - some more - of fitness and nutrition with me and a few other of my team members as their “leaders”. For many of them, it’s their FIRST time working with us as coaches and aaaaall the feels are flowing! Excitement, nervousness, fear, positivity. All one big snowball of feelings! Honestly - I always get a little anxious too before the start gun goes off for all of us! I’m always triple checking everything the night before to make sure everything is prepped and ready to go etc.. but it’s here! Day ONE for the next 6 weeks! Gah! Can you drop us all some positive words of encouragement below?! I would LOVE to show this in our online group to show them they have a WORLD of people cheering them on! 🤩🙌🏻🙌🏻 (and if you’re starting with us today, you can comment too! Let’s gooooo!🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻) I’m so excited to watch us all take this first step into the BEST version of ourselves for the year! So pop some emojis, cheers, encouragement - whatever ya got below! I know it’s early lol but help us kick our week off right and give them some encouragement! Thanks!
