  • #transformationtuesday -- Not sure exactly how many years apart this is, but the upper body definitely gained haha. 💪 -- Found it funny that I still have the same haircut 💇‍♀️, as well as same shirt 👕 and jeans👖 as the old pic 😂 so I decided to recreate the look -- Growing up I was always the shortest/smallest one in class, I would always have to stand in front of the line when it came to yearbook pictures 🤣🤣 and I hated it lol. -- People always assumed I was pretty weak/lesser because of my height 🤷‍♀️ now I can probably beat them at arm wrestle easy peasy 😜 -- 🙌Weightlifting has been a lifechanger, hit upper body this morning and was able to do a solid🏋️‍♀️ 8 reps of bodyweight tricep dips, and 85 lb bench for 10 reps 🙌 (I'm still working on bench strength though) I actually never worked out chest until these last few months 😅 -- -- Did you peep the forearms gains too? 👀😂 -- --

  • Ok here's my dirty secret. I eat carbs, I eat late. I eat when I'm hungry I eat what I like. My diet is a little shitty. Lol.. Always has been. Probably always will be. I have had six kids and never thought I'd bounce back... Don't get me wrong, I care about what I eat. I know I need to get all my nutrients to grow my muscles and keep my insides all nice and healthy. But, this girl has a sweet tooth, and trial and error on how to eat, when to eat, and what to eat had always fascinated me. I eat when I'm hungry and I make smart choices with a few not so smart choices along the way.... What I've learned for MY body is that it doesn't seem to care when I eat or really what I eat. If I'm in a deficit I lose weight. And I will tell you God's honest truth I lose weight best when I maintain a high protein meal plan mixed with a few of my favourite treats, like, licorice and cookies lol. Not denying myself creates a contentment within me... No resentment of what I should be eating.. When I eat 100% Clean I tend to eat too much, too many calories, this creating a pause or gain in weight, compensating I think for the denial of foods I actually want... Soooo.. Why not combine. It works for me. I train hard... I eat "smart" i don't deny myself and I don't overindulge. I've created for myself a happy medium where I don't fight with my food any longer. Macros are important. Nutrients are important,,, all that jazz but u gotta do what works for u...
