Winter. This season’s been a little disappointing when it comes to the amount of snow at the time of the year. More so when you compare this year to last year. But hey, this time around has brought some super cool experiences. Some good and some not so good. All just a crazy adventure. I’m always up for an adventure, and ready to keep going learning on the way, and trying to do things the best I can #explorecnp#travelalberta#explorethepass#crowsnestpass#snow#winter#mountains#goodtimes

“Dreams without goals are just dreams...” ➡️ New Years Resolutions ✨
It is amazing to think there are only 19 days left of 2018! While I don’t necessarily feel the need to set New Years goals, I do think having goals is truly the key 🔑 to success. .
2016 was probably my “peak” ⭐️ year, I graduated PT school, ran my first marathon, set PRs for my 5K and my half marathon, and boxed weekly. I was the strongest and fasted I had ever been. I was fueled by my goals and ambitions, and being the stubborn person I am, once I set my mind to something there was no turning back. .
After that, I made a goal to be a little less selfish and to make more time for my relationships and also maybe sleep a little more. My only goal was to start my career and stay on top of things. But I felt myself losing interest. My workouts suffered and I ended 2017 with my most disappointing to date!🆘 It made me realize it was the first time in my life I didn’t have goals and plans. I have 40 years of work ahead of me and a lot of life to live and I didn’t feel like I was living up to the most of myself. .
So, at the start of 2018 I set some goals!! 👊🏼It’s been a whirlwind of a year, and I didn’t hit some of my goals, but I’m getting there. ⚡️I want to be faster. ⚡️I want to be stronger. ⚡️I want to be more flexible. ⚡️I want to grow in my career.⚡️ I want to be better about sleeping well.⚡️ I want to cook more. ⚡️I want to see more of the world ⚡️
But how can I ensure that I improve myself in these ways?? I’m going to set some goals, follow my dreams, and make the most of this awesome life I was given!! .
Day 2 of the #7daylocalparkschallenge was a swift 20 minutes at Four Mile Creek Preserve in Webster, NY. @branbron23 joined and we had a delightful conversation about the importance of maintaining a clean room and how that relates to a clean mind. I cleaned my room today and feel liberated! Direct quote from Brandon "dude, I can actually see your floor". I need to change my habits to make sure it stays clean! .
I challenge YOU to take part in the 7 day local parks challenge! It is so simple and the goal is to get outside and give local parks the attention they deserve! Check the link in bio for a quick podcast episode giving out details of the challenge.
Land of The Long White Cloud: Adventures in New Zealand 🇳🇿☁️ in the evening we attended a lecture on all things space related, hearing stories about constellations and their origins 🌠✨We were lying on floats bobbing around a pool at the time (oh and I also had a breakdown looking at these stars because at this point in the trip I ran out of money) 🌌
