What do you guys think about this mind-bending entranceway designed by Hiroshi Nakamura? I feel like I am standing inside of a kaleidoscope. What I love most about this place is that no two shots are ever the same.
Kitaabein bahut si padhi hongi tumne, magar koi chehra bhi tumne padha hai?
(You may have read many books, but have you ever read someone's face?) This cheesy line from a Bollywood song also rings true because, come on, we all have said at some point in our lives : No one understands me!
and we all have wished that our crush or lover could see into our hearts and understand what we felt.
Our Daily Bread |16.12.18| Mirrors and Hearers
There's this joke about the Bible, especially when it is described as the Basic Information Before Leaving Earth, which is some what true, for many Christians.
For many of us, the Bible serves as both a benchmark and a mirror that we assess our behaviour. Like any mirror, it reflects our flaws, strength and everything in between. Hence, the Bible helps us to examine our character, attitude, thoughts, and behavior (James 1:23–24). This enables us to align our lives according to the principles of what God has revealed. We will “keep a tight rein” on our tongues (v. 26) and “look after orphans and widows” (v. 27). We will pay heed to God’s Holy Spirit within us and keep ourselves “from being polluted by the world” (v. 27). When we look attentively into “the perfect law that gives freedom” and apply it to our lives, we will be blessed in what we do (v. 25). As we look into the mirror of Scripture, we can “humbly accept the word planted in [us]” (v. 21) ~Duncan

But if you look carefully into the perfect law that sets you free, and if you do what it says and don’t forget what you heard, then God will bless you for doing it.
