Yesterday, I talked about saving money on your wedding. Today, I’m covering the honeymoon (which is totally the best part). We took our honeymoon at Custer State Park in Custer, SD! We rented a cabin and did tons of hiking, fishing, and sight seeing. The best part was knowing we could enjoy ourselves without putting ourselves into debt. .
Here are some tips if you want to save on a honeymoon!
💜 Stay within the United States or even closer to home! Our honeymoon spot was 6-7 hours away & it was still amazing. .
💜Take your honeymoon a few months after your wedding. This allows you to save up & gives you the opportunity to use some of the wedding gift money for your honeymoon! .
💜 Look for low cost attractions in the area you’re interested in. Hiking is a low cost activity & you get to enjoy the scenery! .
💜 Save, save, save. This goes without saying but SAVE UP. Its fine if you want an expensive honeymoon, just save for it. You’ll be happier, too. .
Just for fun, where is one place you’ve always wanted to visit? Mine is Bora Bora! 🌴
