This afternoon our students caught a beautiful sunset from the Sky Garden on our first DiscoverIES experience of the semester. Swipe right to see the London skyline transform as the sun set this evening.
My account is slowly becoming a London sunset fan account and I’m ok with it. I’m not gonna lie, the whole fun and games part of London being dark ALL THE TIME is sort of losing its pizazz. I’m ok if the sun wants to start rising just a tad earlier. 🌅 #londonsunset#london#mylondon

currently killing time at heathrow airport before our flight to bangkok, we made a somewhat spontaneous decision to go to thailand for a few weeks before we head back to india. mike & i’s first time in thailand and we’re pretty keen for some tropical beach vibes after the last while in cold grey european cities 😎
I remember when I first moved to London to study Interior Architecture how big and lonely it felt at times. I rented a tiny tiny furnished studio apartment in Maida Vale - one of the first things I added to the decor to make the space feel more like me was a pink poster with red letters that read “Work hard and be nice to people”. I’m sure you know it as it’s in every single interior shoot.. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀
A younger friend asked me for career advice today and this poster came to my mind. Smile is the strongest currency. Thank you London for teaching me that if you work hard and be nice to people great things will happen. Forever my mantra.
Do you have a favourite moto that you keep referring to throughout the years? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
PS: This is the view from our latest project.. due to launch in Spring 2019🏙🇬🇧
