Definitely got that London love ✨
Finally making my first post of 2019. I spent my first couple of weeks in this year exploring parts of the world with some amazing people and I couldn’t have asked for a better way to start this new year 💕 Although it was a bit of a bumpy end to 2018 with us “losing” our luggage due to some uncooperative people at a certain airline, it definitely made for an extra celebratory New Years once it arrived on NYE 🎊 How has everyone’s 2019 been going so far though? ・
Metro trains, commuter trains, bullet trains, packed to the gills trains... so many types of trains on this Quest!
Since the age of 2 Roo has had a love affair with the magic of locomotives. So she was basically in bliss as we rode trains all over Paris and then a BULLET train to London on @eurostar!
I had done so much debating back and forth about whether it was smarter to catch a flight or take the train from London to Paris. Spoiler alert: the train was the hands down winner!
The Lloyd's building (sometimes known as the Inside-Out Building) is the home of the insurance institution Lloyd's of London. It is located on the former site of East India House in Lime Street, in London's main financial district, the City of London. The building is a leading example of radical Bowellism architecture in which the services for the building, such as ducts and lifts, are located on the exterior to maximise space in the interior.
I miss all the Christmas festivities, the streets don't look as fun anymore!
