  • I feel like there is never a time during my day when I’m not thinking about places I wanna travel too. I’ve always wanted to travel and experience new places. After graduating high school I worked at a local outdoor retail shop and spent hours reading about @natgeo expeditions all across the world. I would constantly tell my co-workers where I would want to go and why haha. Fast forward to this year and all I can think about is how incredibly fortunate I am to have visited 2 different countries this year. It has not only pushed me out of my comfort zone (first time out of the country) but it has also reaffirmed what I’ve been chasing for all these years. If you’re passionate about something, follow it. You will not regret it. - Photo cred: 1st @sagepemberton 2nd & 3rd @joyscheidle

  • It’s hard to imagine where I’d be without the friends/family in my life willing to give insight, encouragement, and criticism. Whatever you wanna do in life it’s important to find wise people willing to tell you what they think. Surround yourself with people that will light your path ✨🏔

Taking off to Scandinavia/Nordland for my Fall Break and just thought I'd leave you all with this shot of yurts under the Kyrgyz sky up at 3016m a.s.l. 😊." ⠀ Tenti: "Song Köl (also Son Kul, Songköl, Song-Köl, literally "following lake") is an alpine lake in northern Naryn Province, Kyrgyzstan. It lies at an altitude of 3016 m, and has an area of about 270 km2 and volume of 2.64 km3. The lake's maximum length is 29 km, breadth about 18 km, and the deepest point is 13.2 m. It is the second largest lake in Kyrgyzstan after Issyk Kul Lake, and the largest fresh water lake in Kyrgyzstan. Its name, meaning "following lake", is popularly considered to refer to this relation. It is surrounded by a broad summer pasture and then mountains. Its beauty is greatly praised, but it is rather inaccessible. The best approach seems to be the 85 km road from Sary-Bulak on the main north-south highway. Other routes require all-terrain vehicles. There are no permanent facilities on the lake, but local herders will provide supplies and rent yurts and restroom facilities. The area is inhabited and safely accessible only from June to September." From Wikipedia

  • “Some day baby we’ll be old, oh baby we’ll be old — think of all the stories that we could have told.” -Asaf Avidan •• •• Photo by @reneeroaming who has some GOSPEL for you::: ⠀⠀ "Something truly crazy happened this year. I sat down in January and wrote a journal entry. Not for that day, but for 12/31/18, almost a year ahead. I wrote it in the present tense, like everything I was recording was fact and had happened over the course of 2018. ✨ A part of me felt like it was insane to think all those things would come true, but another part of me believed in the power of manifestation (law of attraction, goal setting, visualization ... whatever you want to call it). ✨ By about August this year, every part of my journal entry had come to fruition. I had reached my yearly income goals, found a home we love, launched a new website and branding, strengthened friendships and relationships I wanted to focus on, finally cleared up my skin, and felt healthier and fitter than ever before (plus more, but can’t list everything here). ✨ Guys, this manifestation stuff WORKS! I’ve had multiple things happen this year that weren’t just coincidences or simply luck, they were a direct result of me putting my dreams out there and actively pursuing them. ✨ The active part is a vital piece of the equation and I think one that a lot of people overlook. You can’t just set a goal and then sit back and wait for it to happen. I worked hard towards these goals all year, constantly reviewing them, thinking about them, attracting them. ✨ I’m not saying there isn’t any luck involved. Heck, the fact that I was born in a western country into a middle class family is already winning the lottery. But plenty of other people have that same privilege and aren’t using it to pursue their dreams. ✨ So if you need me, I’ll just be over here scheming up my wildest dreams for 2019 💛 ✨ Share your experiences with manifestation in the comments section below, I would love to hear them! 👇🏼" •• •• •• •• •• •• •• #tasteintravel #lifeofadventure #liveauthentic #livefolk #letsgosomewhere #freedomthinkers #wanderfolk #welivetoexplore #welltravelled #exploreeverything #natureaddict #passportexpress #artofvisual

  • “Not all those who wander are lost” wrote J. R. R. Tolkien, which we think perfectly describes this scenic photo taken by @federico.sette. This mesmeric location is one of the highest situated inhabited valleys in Europe – the Engadin. The sunny @engadin.stmoritz in @graubuenden stretches over 80 kilometres with an impressive natural landscape filled with rich contrasts, lakes, glaciers and world-famous towns such as @stmoritz. Incidentally, St. Moritz was the birthplace of Alpine winter holidays, having been recognised as a winter sports paradise from as early as 1864. It’s no wonder that two Winter Olympic Games have also been held there!

  • It’s hard to believe the end of 2018 is within only a matter of weeks. As a family we’ve been on some pretty incredible adventures together this year, from the ocean to the mountains and everything in between. During our journeys, if the opportunity to submerge in freezing cold water is available, Ben aka @the.logan.lore, will make the absolute most of it. These are just a few of the beautiful lakes, rivers and oceans he’s been in this year.

  • ADVENTURE MINDSET CALENDAR ⠀⠀ BOOSTER 11 - NURTURING SLEEP MODE 🌙 ⠀⠀ Make the uncomfortable comfortable. Sleep on the too short/hard couch or straight on the floor. Head out for a night under the stars or in a bivvy, tent, snow cave or simply on the grass/snow in your garden. Sleep on the floor over night while waiting for the early morning train on your travel, or choose a seat instead of a bed for the night train. Don’t use mattresses or pillows, but use whatever you need to make it just about as comfortable required for you to be able fall asleep (insulator mats, blankets, clothes). ⠀⠀ Brain training: Like yesterday, this is also a reset practice. It will train your brain to not only sleep better, but also solve problems, find comfort in uncomfortable situations or places, make the best out of what you have, and become more flexible in your planning. Last but not least, sleeping on something you’re not used to or in a place where you don’t find comfort, will holistically and deeply remind you to not take things for granted and be grateful for the things you have. You were presented a bed and a pillow when you were born - but did you really (I mean really) need it? Also, the more you practice this, the better you’ll be at falling asleep as you learn to ease your thoughts from noise, light, habits, pain and other surrounding circumstances, and find comfort within yourself instead of needing a dead quiet and pitch black place (which can be stressful sometimes when you don’t have it). ⠀⠀ Benefits: Similar to yesterday’s breaking a habit on getting perspective, resetting the brain and the what/how/why reminder, this practice will nurture your habits and routines. You’ll become more tolerant, foster your thoughts in challenging situations, and the more you sleep uncomfortably, the easier it’ll be to travel or go outdoor camping (and you’ll learn to love it!!). This will also make you question things you have and why you have them - maybe you’ve just done something your whole life on social routine and not for yourself? ⠀⠀ #AdventureMindChallenge
