It is with great pleasure to present to you the very first image you'll see from me that was taken outside of the United States. >>>>THIS IS CANADA<<<< Back in August, I had enough time to take a brief look around and see if this was where I wanted to spend my time in during next summers grand journey. Now, please try to understand how much I love the desert. It's a lot, like, beyond belief and I love it for so many reasons. To go somewhere else is nearly a risk. I told myself I'd try something new next year and this is the most likely place I'll end up in. A few things I really enjoyed while I was there(SIDE NOTE, I am only speaking of the areas of which I was in) 1-it's sparsely populated. LOTS of open roads and minimal traffic. It felt like just a larger version of ND/MT. That's a great thing. 2.The dirt roads were nicer than the ones in America. 3. The subjects I chose to shoot.
Now, 1 thing I didn't enjoy; THE SPEED LIMITS! I was on some major highways though out the day and half I was in the country and never saw a posted limit beyond 100KM, that's just over 60 mph BTW. It's not a breaking point by any means, I was just surprised.
I am actively looking through out Alberta and Saskatchewan for locations, but also looking for new places to visit in Texas, California, Nevada and New Mexico. Nothing is certain and nothing is ruled out.
