Sheriff Michael Walker has been around Shale Hollow for as long as most can remember. He’s watched over the town for some time, loved by all. He’s stern. Welcoming. And always does his job. He drives around Shale Hollow protecting its citizens. We’re thankful for Sheriff Walker.

The Favourite 2018
I am not one for movies set in old England, they are usually boring and all the characters are uptight. Just like his previous work this is absurd, witty, satirical and almost perfect.
The writer/director of personal favorites of mine Dogtooth 09, The Lobster 15 and Killing of the Sacred Deer 17, Yorgos Lanthimos does it again but this time as only the director but you can definitely tell he had a hand in the script.
Based on a true story, after a interesting carriage ride Abigail Masham (Emma Stone), a poor servant arrives at a big estate that has some funny smelling mud. A always sick and somewhat childlike Queen Anne (Olivia Coleman) rules England with the guidance of her close friend Lady Sarah (Rachel Weisz). Soon Lady Sarah and Abigail are in a battle for power using any means necessary, whether that's rubbing the Queens leg while Abigail's hands go farther north or maybe some good ole fashioned poison.
I would have liked to have seen Emma Stone go even crazier after she Mark Wahlberg'd herself from Fear. That was the turning point in the movie but to see the craze in her eyes more often would have been more entertaining I think.
All three actresses were fantastic in the love/power triangle as they nailed the comedy and drama.
I could see Barry Keoghan's character from Sacred Deer thriving in this setting. He would work his way up to King real quick.
While walking out of the theater my friend said "I need to go watch the rest of Yorgos Lanthimos's stuff, this movie was great." #Movie#moviereview#indiefilm#supportindiefilm#TheFavourite#emmastone#rachelweisz#oliviacoleman#yorgoslanthimos#oscars

What good is a Director without their Assistant Director/Casting Director? Meet Dani Pileggi, the real woman in charge!
Dani grew up in the Poconos but came back to Philadelphia for college. She's always been interested in film and art, but after going to California and seeing the sets for Universal Studios, she knew she wanted to pursue film. She can quote the entire movie of 21 Jump Street and many other movies. When she's not working on a film she is either watching one, listening to music or sleeping.
Other works: Turntable (Production Designer, script supervisor 2018), Rupture (Assistant Director 2018), Ambitious (Production Designer)
