Started my rainy morning by going to the iconic La Paz Public Market for a bowl of authentic La Paz Batchoy. Inside the market is Netong’s. Usually I ask for extra “caldo” (broth) if I like the batchoy but In my personal opinion Super Batchoy House in Bacolod serves it better. I was still very satisfied and happy because their dinuguan (chocolate stew) reminded of my childhood. Every time we would have lechon, my dad would always request my aunt to come over to our house and make the dinuguan. Haven’t tasted it for a while after she got a stroke. Her dinuguan recipe had no smell and just pure savory goodness, I would surmise she got it from her grandma who was a Ferrer from Oton, Iloilo.
NB: No need to worry about getting lost, people inside the market are helpful in giving directions.

We had our first tastes of Activated 😋Charcoal frozen yogurt and it's melting 💦fast. Tried the Love/Luck Frozen 🍧 yogurt. Activated charcoal is naturally use to 🛒flushed out toxins from the body. Back in my internship days and even now we used activated charcoal to safely and effectively treat poisonings and drug overdosage. And ➡Take note 🤚this isn't charcoal we used in the barbeque grill😉this is Activated Charcoal 😄 |🇵🇭📌 Quezon City

Purple and Yellow Sweet corns on my dinner table. 🎨Rich in #Anthocyanins, a pigment with anitoxidant activity that give the corns its bluish purple color. 🌽🌽🌽 #WhenIMnMNL😚
Becoming a Vegetarian. Far from Being Vegan. Today's lunch menu includes my own version of #VegetableSalad and mom's #Pinakbet 🎋For a week now, I started to cut down on sugars and carbohydrates. No sweet drinks just water. 🤽No white rice just the organic type. It was an uneasy task initially yet as days passes by and your body slowly 🤸adapts to your new regimen it becomes an easy feat. ⛹ #BalikAlindog to others but I prefer, be it called #OplanMalusogNaBuhay. 🥂For A Healthier Life ahead. 🏋 #WhenIMnMNL😚

#imjac❤thePhilippines🇵🇭: I've always wanted to participate again in a #SinulogFestival. I was about 2 or 3yo the last time i did and that was ages ago. 👶 I couldn't remember a thing 😁 i am pretty sure it is as colorful 👸🎉and glorious as its always been. As evident as the pictures circulating around. However, with the demands of life here in #Manila, we cannot 🏊make it to #Cebu this year. 😓 but we can make it to church 💒and honor in his presence🙏along with other images of #StoNino brought by some of the faithfuls. After which, a quick visit to our #AllTime favorite happy place, #Jollibee and a quick snap before devouring our mouth🍗drooling #ChickenJoys. Bon Apetit!| 📌 Rizal, #Philippines#whenIMnMNL😚
