Always believe that everything is working out in your favour. Even if it feels like something you so deeply desired hasn't worked out, trust and have faith that everything is conspiring to your highest benefit. It's important to know the difference between what we want and what we need. Often times we want something so bad but it's really not what's best for us. I always believe that a rejection or something not working out is God's way of protecting, redirecting or guiding us to where we need to be or with whom we need to be , where we will be happiest and be brought closer to fulfilling our soul's purpose.💖💕
Along similar lines to my last post:
Just because someone cannot give you what you need doesn't mean you don't deserve to have your needs met. Others are showing up from their own stories, their own wounds, their own experiences, and their own capabilities. They aren't always able to give us what we need in any given moment. And, at the very same time, please remember that this doesn't mean those needs don't deserve to be met, held, and honored by others. Sometimes, we just have to choose who we fully let in, and who we send love to from a distance, even if only for now. ❤️

It may seem like common sense, but I find so many people (myself included!) have a difficult time drinking enough water. Which is unfortunate considering being just slightly dehydrated can leave you feeling fatigued, make you feel hungry, and decrease performance and mental clarity. Here are some great tips to help you drink up! .

Struggle to drink enough water? I used to have a hard time getting in my ounces, but over time, I developed some strategies to help me!
🚰A good rule of thumb is to drink between .5 oz - 1 oz. of water for each pound you weigh, every day [I weigh 130lbs so I need to drink 65-130 oz. per day]
🍔Fat Loss Tip: drinking a glass of water before each meal can help you eat fewer calories. We often confuse thirst for hunger, so next time hunger strikes, opt for a glass of water first!
5 Strategies to Drink More Water:
▪️elastic band trick: figure out your required ounces and find water bottle you want to use. depending on ounces of bottle, put appropriate number of bands on it and when you drink a full bottle, move elastic to wrist.
▪️timer/app trick: set reminders every hour or so to drink up!
▪️chug trick: everytime you pick up or see your water bottle, chugggg it!
▪️flavor trick: add flavoring, drink sparking, bubbly or seltzer water, or unsweetened iced tea
▪️nipple trick: as weird as this one is, it’s super effective. having a straw/nipple/easy to drink operation will make it less of an obstacle to open your bottle. find whatever works best for you 🤪

I decided that I'm just not going to do winter this year. 😂🤷🏾♀️ Fruit from my friends @miamifruit 🍇🍉🍐 #miamifruit
Our culture calls these words, actions, and gestures a preamble to the 'real action' - so they are seen as sexual 'extras'. This idea is even embedded in the word 'foreplay' and the effort is made only as a means to the end goal, and only made some of the time. These actions are seen as mere invitations to the feast, and not the feast itself.
But what most don't realise is that this array of 'extras', these seemingly 'non-sexual' touches, seductive or admiring words, loving caresses, and kisses, play a crucial role for a woman in feeling safe and uniquely valued.
And the sympathetic nervous system registers this as a safe sexual environment, allows deeper relaxation, and affects female arousal as a whole.
Spending time kissing, massaging, and caressing certainly changes the game and never goes unrewarded. Try not to see the 'foreplay' as a chore, or a nonessential extra, because it is all an essential and equally important, enjoyable part of lovemaking that deepens connection and builds arousal and energy between you. (Decided to repost this today after a conversation with a friend that gave me the urge to remind everyone just how important this stuff is! Without all these beautiful little intimate gestures, ain't nobody getting me into bed!)

❤️ NEW PODCAST RELEASE ❤️ Do you know that 1 in 6 women experience vulva / vagina pain? In the words of that sailor that swears a lot.. it’s f*cked. I was one of those women and I spent many years unravelling and healing. 10 years ago no one, including myself, had a clue how to handle 🐈 pain, asides from prescribing hectic medication, numbing creams, and vagina slicing operations in order to remove the parts that hurt. Last option is a bit medieval eh?!
My latest ‘Conversations with 🐈’ podcast episode ‘7 Ways To Recover and Empower Your Life When Experiencing 🐈 Pain’ is now available to listen to via the link in my bio, or simply search for ‘Conversations with 🐈' (that’s 🐈 with a capital P) on Apple Podcasts.
If this is something you are journeying through, I see you. I work with many women to guide them from pain to pleasure. Reach out to me on [email protected] if you are ready for change.

A well spent Friday arvo taking a dip in the ocean and beginning a fantastic read about Ayurvedic healing 🔮 So much knowledge to learn in the pages of books 📖 Has anyone from this community delved into Ayurveda for healing?

Ive posted this quite recently but I’m posting it again and I’ll probably keep posting it every so often. I suppose you could call it a statement of intent. It’s how I approach what I do, it’s how I feel about my work and what I want to achieve through my massage practice.
To heal through massage and movement. To create space in the body. To explore all aspects muscular health. To work with the body, not against it. To treat the cause, not the symptom. To promote the body’s own healing methods. To connect muscle to mind and mind to muscle. To treat the client as an individual whilst treating the body as a whole. To relieve pain and stress. To be present in treatment. To be fluid in treatment. To improve motion. To restore movement.
