  • TIPS TO AVOID OVEREATING THIS CHRISTMAS 🎄. . 🎄STAY HYDRATED. Drinking plenty of fluid helps you to maintain the balance of fluids in the body aids digestion and concentration levels. This will help your decision making process which can lead to smarter choices. . 🎄DON’T TURN UP HUNGRY 😋. Rocking up to party really hungry is a recipe for taking the whole turkey down and cracking out the maternity pants. A small nutritious meal before hand will ease the hunger and allow for a smaller indulgence later. . 🎄GET ADEQUATE SLEEP 😴. Numerous studies support that inadequate sleep can lead to an in-balance in hormones and increase cravings. Making that mince pie 🥧 look even more irresistible than usual. . DRINK SMARTER 🍺🥂. Having a drink at Christmas is a lovely thing if enjoyed in moderation. Try having some water between drinks and avoid the lack of eating to save calories for drinking method! Aim to reduce the amount of sugary mixers you have as these rack up the calories further. Meat on the rocks being the lesser of two evils. . BE MINDFUL 🤔. If you have a rough idea of your calorie requirements you can make educated decisions. It’s a lot easier to know if you have overeaten if you understand what your calorie maintenance is. Deprivation of your favourite holiday treats will most likely lead to a binge later. I don’t want you to demonise foods. You can have the tasty foods just moderately.
