#fooddiary is back for 2019! My body, after the holidays, when faced with one of my (usually) fave breakfasts: ‘Where is the bacon! Where are the croissants?!’ 🥐 😆 . .
A light and shadow study on my egg and avocado toast this morning. 🥑
Slightly jet lagged, with a bad cold, couldn’t sleep last night, so been fighting the cockroaches in my humid home. Yay! I’m back 🤣
After almost a month away in Europe visiting family & friends, it’s been amazing to reconnect with everyone & enjoy the little things such as the food I’ve missed, hot showers, good WiFi, favorite shops and wow no mosquitoes - a real treat!! 😄
My tolerance to cold temperatures, shoes, (and heels!) queues & crowds has definitely worsen ☝🏼
It is pretty powerful though to be reminded of the life you used to have & appreciate how far you’ve come since making the changes to create the life you do want, through enough passion & commitment.
I had hesitated doing this trip because let’s be real, it’s an expensive one. But family & friends are priceless. My heart is full. 😘
Now back to priorities... I need my sun-kissed tan back! 😆🌴👙
Back to cold showers (and water shortages which lead to ocean baths), sand in my bedsheets, cockroaches in my bathroom, dusty roads, humid weather, getting devoured by mosquitoes, daily power cuts & unreliable WiFi. 🤣🤣🤣👌🏼 Ahhh and back to the heat! 😍walk barefoot again, watch magical sunsets, dance on the beach, swim daily, watch surfers, eat papayas , mangoes 🥭, nasi campur & see my Lembongan family!!! Bali baby, I’m home 🌺🌴😘 Photo by @maxibendahan 📷
Last night in Portugal/Europe was closed off watching sunset at Boca do Inferno....dam bird photobombed my shot! What a way to finish an amazing trip where I have had amazing experiences and met some amazing people!...a day tomorrow to relax before 34hrs in transit to make my way home to @visitwaggawagga ....Time to spread the wings and fly!
