"Mountains or beaches," they asked?
I stopped for a second and started thinking, should I limit myself just to the mountains?
Or should I start exploring beaches as well?
I realized it doesn't actually matter whether it is a hill station or a beach, what matters to me is where I feel the most contented.
Places are always beautiful and pure unless touched by humans.
So after thinking for some time, I replied, "Anything with less human presence" 🙃
Are you a Mountain person or a beach lover? Or do you have a similar story to tell?

I woke up early and freshened up and had my breakfast in langar area and headed for catching the bus.Even after getting up on time and waiting for bus the first bus I suppose came at 750 am at manikaran gurudwara and waits another 10 mins further cost 20 from manikaran to burshaini village from where the kheerganga trek starts.I took the lower route via village naktnan which crosses the river and dam i.e left side of dam.The Hdfc sign board showed 12 km distance one side.I started at 8.54 am where the bus left me .The trail is well laid out and was dry and you could see the snow on mountain top.I was alone and then later joined by a sweet female dog.She accompanied me to a large extent till the time we reached a point where she had her puppies .I cuddled with them and said my good byes. The trek has blue turquoise water .At points i did miss my trek partners whom i had met in valley of flowers and did send him pictures and wished he was here. Most of the route /trek was dry , some places water and slippery and as you reach the top more slippery. When i reached Naktnan 7 km further distance was left.Still remember the blue house with chimney and smoke coming out.Surreal expereince of seeing village. The calm and peace. Many a times locals and shop owners were suprised to see a lone gal trekking. When 3 km was left i met 3 guys who were coming from pulga side.We were the first batch of people to reach the top at around1.20 pm that day.I was little taken aback as the pictures i had seen showed the pool to be huge.Morever the gals hot pool is small and surrounded by wooden logs which blocks the snow view.It was all safe and i had the whole pool to myself :).No changing rooms so please carry long shrug or sarong to change clothes.Took hot spring bath and started back at 2.20 pm.Last year there were camps and shops which has all been cleared out now. There was this swing on which i sat and that was the best feeling to be in lap of nature. We reached back around 5.33pm.
