More often then not we think about things we need to remove or stop doing to reach our goals. But what if we focused on what we can add to our life to improve our healthy journey? —
To me, this is a more positive approach and can really help in the long term. Here’s a list of things you can add to get you inspired to think about what you can add for a better, healthy, lifestyle. —

The list goes on. But focus on what you can do, rather than what you need to stop doing, to improve your healthy journey! What’s one thing you can do more of?! ❤️ —
I am 29 years old and don’t plan on having kids anytime soon.
I sat in my Uber as he drove me to meet a friend for dinner. We talked about how much Denver was booming, traffic was getting crazy, and how it was kicking him and his family of 7 out of the metro area and into the suburbs.
He very politely asked me if I had kids, and then asked me how old I was. Shortly after said, oh I’m sorry you don’t have to tell me that! Either way, I did. He asked me if I was married or wanted kids and said I really didn’t know yet.
And then he goes into telling me that he’s glad he had kids young so that he could “keep up with them”. You know, because if you wait until your mid-30s or 40s, you’ll be 60 when they get older and that’s how old I am, I can barely keep up.
All I could think about was how much of a baller I’m going to be at 60. And that if keep with this lifestyle of healthy eating, moving every day, and surrounding myself with positive awesome people — I’ll keep up with anyone I want to into my 40s, 50s, 60s and beyond.
You don’t have to be a certain age to get married, to have kids, to travel. You don’t even have to know what you want, or what’s coming next. All you have to do is take care of YOURSELF! ❤️ you.

What's up in this shot is an experiment. I bought some crab from a fisherman in Tofino, BC, and he told me to cook it in ocean water. Duh. It's already salty! .
Next time you cook pasta, add a lot of salt to the water. Suddenly those average noodles will taste like a something. .
So now you ask: BUT, HOW MUCH SALT?! How salty should you water for pasta/rice/quinoa/etc. be? .

Chicken Fajita Roll-Ups 😋
For the Marinade:
• 1 Tbsp olive oil
• 4 tsp lime juice
• 1 clove garlic, minced
• 1 tsp. chili powder
• ½ tsp. cumin
• ½ tsp. dried oregano
• ½ tsp. salt
• Pinch of cayenne pepper (optional)
• 2 Tbsp cilantro, chopped
• For the Chicken:
• 27 ounces raw boneless skinless chicken breasts
• ½ red bell pepper, sliced
• ½ yellow bell pepper, sliced
• ½ green bell pepper, sliced
Makes three servings
1 leaner protein
In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, lime juice, garlic, chili powder, cumin, oregano, salt, cayenne (if using) and cilantro. Set aside.
For the chicken breasts, if you purchased pre-sliced chicken cutlets then skip to the next step. If using chicken breasts, slice them longways into 2 even slices
Place chicken cutlets into a large resealable freezer bag and pour marinade over top, making sure they are completely coated. Allow chicken to marinate for a minimum of one hour to overnight.
Once chicken has marinated, evenly place 6 bell pepper slices in the middle of the chicken cutlet, roll up and secure with a toothpick. Repeat this step until all the cutlets have been rolled up and place seam side down in a prepared baking dish.
Brush tops of chicken with remaining marinade and bake, uncovered, at 375 for about 25 to 30 minutes or until the juices run clear. Serve and enjoy!
Purpose of warmup: increase mobility, “wake up” muscles needed for workout, work on weak points, take body/joints through range of motion needed for workout.
Here is the 5-10 minute routine we like to do before we squat:
Foam roll tight areas - for immediate increases in range of motion.
Band resisted lateral walks, monster walks, and banded glute bridges - to get the glutes firing (specifically lateral glutes) and to work on weak points.
Leg swings and lunge with twist - dynamic movements to loosen up hips, glutes, and hamstrings.
Box jumps- to get those fast twitch muscle fibers firing.
Squat with band- again to get those glutes firing to help knee cave when actually squatting.
Try running though this warmup and see how good your squats feel afterwards!

🆘El problema de este hábito, es que al consumir 🍋 como primer alimento, provoca irritación en vías digestivas y al ser un hábito te va llevar a una gastritis, colitis, reflujo, etc. 📄En el 2015 un grupo científico de alemánes y británicos analizaron el efecto que tenian diversas bebidas ácidas en los dientes, como coca cola, sprite, red bull, zumo de 🍋. Los resultados = el 🍋 daña MAS los dientes que la coca cola!!! ✅Lo que si esta comprobado, es que cuando ingerimos 💧 antes de ingerir alimentos, este ocupa un volumen importante en el estomago por lo que el apetito ⬇️ y la sensación de saciedad llega más rápido. ⚠️
